    Probably less than $400.

I usually just play at the end of one expac and the beginning of another...except the end of Cata and the entirety of MoP. I just didn't care for either of them.

Oh, I have no idea but with the countless race changes and gender changes that I have done...well over 1k euros without counting the actual subs.
Oh well, I quit wow 3 days ago after my boredom level as well as well as the pvp frustration level finally reached max values.

I thought this site is called MMO-Champion not WoW-Champion. I could be wrong.

It is implied that WoW is the "champion of MMOs"...

According to my account history, which has tracked everything I've spent since Oct '06, I've given Blizzard $1,538.85.

I see it as a win/win since if I wasn't playing WoW, I'd probably have bought more games to keep me busy. Let's say another 6 games minimum a year, at 7 years, at around $65 each (including tax)... that's $2730! And that's IF I were to only buy 6 games in a YEAR. "6 games is a lot!" Oh really? How many of the average gamers do you think aren't getting or haven't already pre-ordered BF4, CoD, AC:BF, Batman, FFXV, Titanfall, Watchdogs, Destiny, ect.? And THAT'S just what's coming out in within the next few months!

    D3 Original Price = £50
    Vanilla > TBC > WotLK > Cata = £100 or so
    Since 2007 sub till 2011 = £500

    = £650 - £750

Damn, alota money! But then again, that's 4 years. That takes into account paying for AT prem and D3 items.

Almost $300 in games and about a year & a half in sub fees to World of Warcraft.

I never bought anything in their store such as minipets or whatever doodads they sell. And I never really liked World of Warcraft enough to buy all the expansions and sub for years at a time.

Most of the expense is buying Diablo multiple copies. Back in those D2 glory days of mutiboxing. But those used to be like $10 on Ebay and $20 on Amazon. Which you sorta broke even on at the least if you were a serious D2 power trader.
