No we can't. Because it would be boring. In the current context there is nothing prohibiting you to consider your class a "evil" Warlock, in it for Personal power. But if you place strict guidelines fitting only your liking, you create a situation where nobody else could play out his own fantasy according with his desires.

You couldn't have zealous Scarlet Crusaders and you couldn't have a frustrated Mage who picks up Fel magic to further his career in the service of the Horde/Alliance.

    It was a rhetorical question.

But the Scarlet Crusaders would fall under the Lawful/Evil alignment.

In the eyes of the Alliance, the Horde is evil. In the eyes of the Horde, the Alliance is evil. It's subjective. No character in this game is performing "evil acts", it's not possible to run around slaughtering innocents like it was Grand Theft WoW. Every quest, and encounter, in this game is "doing good" from your character's (faction) point of view.

Exactly "evil" Paladins. They are utterly convinced they are doing the right thing tho.

Holy magic (abilities) is not dark magic. Period. Now if you want to discuss if a Paladin can be evil or not, that's for another thread, not here.

But none of WoW's PC paladins are suppose to be evil ...
