Need help with a new computer.

Hello, I am planning to buy a new computer to replace my old one and my current budget is 1500$ (i can go a bit more maybe up to 1550$ if required).
I mainly game on the computer and would like to run most games on ultra setting and from reading other builds here i noticed u guys like to squeeze the highest performance from the budget so that is why i am here ( Not very experienced and knowledgable about this stuff).

I already read the other 1500$ topic currently up but in my case i do not need a monitor nor an OS since i got both which makes the 1500$ build ive seen more like a 1200$ build.

So please if any1 can help me out that would be greatly appreciated. I would like a computer to last me a couple of years and would like to (as mentioned earlier) squeeze the best performance out of my budget.

the 780 is just a placeholder. wait for the r290x that should drop in around 600$ and if rumours are true it will be better than the titan.

Only change I'd make to flens' build is to probably get an R9-290X and maybe change the motherboard to the Z87-Extreme4.

Thanks for the build. if i plan to overclock my GPU and CPU will i need to adjust the build or is it fine the way it is right now? and do you recommend overlocking both or just 1 and will both give me much higher performance?

sorry for the barrage of questions but i need to know now before i purchase anything

again i really appreciate all your help.

that build is as good as it gets for overclocking. wait for the r9 290x video card. you dont need to overclock the gpu.
