I feared thats what alot of our wipes would be like... but on our actual kill we had almost our entire raid alive when he dropped . Its wierd how wipes work :P

He's very prone to low percent wipes indeed, though that's more to do with the everyone pretty much being able to wing the mechanics because the phase isn't long enough.

I'd throw my fucking computer out the window. Sub 1% wipes induce nothing put pure rage.

@ the one who captured the video:

the boss is down the moment he is down, and not at 6%
if there's one thing I learned in WoW, then it is this.

but yeah, that is fricking ... bad luck. I don't think that there is a worse wipe on him than this one out there

I just laugh at low % wipes. If you got it below 1%, you've got the fight in a few more pulls.

The dude who made the vid jinxed it but cheering to early (in his shoutbox).

We had someone who also did the at time, he said good job guys before the boss was down... and then we wiped Always when he said that...

if you get a boss below 1% and dont kill him, it's a matter of concentration. Often you become more dedicated to kill him, causing minor lack of concentrations, causing earlier wipes.
recovering from <1% wipes is often more difficult as it sounds

This brings back horrible memories of what would have been a 1st kill wipe with 50k life on Cho'gall.

my word. when had our garrosh normal firstkill last ID... we had an 8.3% wipe, quite a bit after that we had an 2.7% wipe, and when we were below 3% the next time some guy also started cheering, and I said... the boss is down when he is down, not at 3%. Luckily, we indeed killed him then, but I've seen low% wipes too often to cheer before he actually IS down.

Damn dude, that's rough. The worst wipe I ever had was 5k on Heroic Maloriak but the one that bugs me the most was 120k on heroic Ascendant Council.

It's more the fact that it takes 12 minutes to get there, and the dps check before this phase is very high at this gear level with 2 healers where one of them is a Paladin with no dps, and one little mistake or bad rng = wipe.

C: We have a Night Elf dps'er in raid
    D: We aren't horde
E: Our second Disc Priest quit
F: I forgott to pre dot boss before p4 this one try...
G: Our Paladin don't have his Monk healer geared :<
H: Some one forgott to... you get the idea.

Oh I have no doubt that isn't part of the problem. I'm just saying all these 2-3% wipes with shit starting to hit the fan at around the 6th Malice would be a lot higher if the boss had more HP. In that sense I feel P4 was a failure; it allows for a lot of mistakes toward the end.

I find the opposite to be true. Usually when that wipe happens, the general attitude is "Ok, can we please kill the boss now?" Once people know a kill is possible, the mindset and play-level seems to rise drastically.
