No spawns anywhere, apparently it's not winter until it's colder. Sorry.. Pet spawns at Feb 27, and Despawns on Feb 28. Only 1 Per realm available. Sorry Charley.

This pet only spawns from November 1st until Feb 28th (or maybe 29th in a leap year).
They don't have any additional spawning conditions such as time of day/weather. The only requirement is it being winter in WoW.
Also, they only come as a primary pet. So fighting other pets in the hope of finding a Snowy Owl as added pet will NOT work. It also seems to have a very long respawn timer as well of 6 hrs.

You are also forgetting about CRZ times as well also take into account for the pet to spawn as some CRZ will be behind your server. So the pet won't really spawn at midnight for your server. Also the respawn time for said pet can be between 3 to 6 hrs so you have to wait and take your time.

But No one has found the pet on any servers.. so.. what you're saying is probably incorrect and you have no proof of the fact.

if you say so yet the proof is on wowhead and I followed that information back in patch 5.0.5 and have the pet since then but ok. http://www.wowhead.com/npc=7554/snowy-owl#comments I also talked to a gm as well and they comfimed that information for me as well. The snow owl is only available during winter in azeroth. Azerothian winter starts on 1st November and ends on the last day of february (28/29).

All European realms are CET. :3

I always thought the season pets spawned on the solstices and lasted until the next equinox. So I thought the Snowy Owl should become available again on the 21st December and then disappear on the vernal equinox (~20th March).

A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.

Snowy owl doesn't seem to count in that regard it actually despawns on feb 28th unlike the other season pets that are up till march 20th. There is a bug they never fixed as the pet is suppose to spawn in September but it spawns in the start of Nov.

Everyone keeps saying I've had GM confirmation about blah blah, but obviously GM's aren't telling you the truth, also do you have any Solid SS Proof of the Info he gave you?

I've heard, GM's saying September 23, and Oct 31st, and November first @ 3am.. Well it's 8am November 1st, I've been on 45 Different realms.. and No pet spawn.

Therefore, I will confirm with my own knowledge that whatever you're saying isn't correct.

December 21st seems to be the day now or at least someone on wowhead.com says. Apparently he says "Last year's first of November was a mistake as it is supposed to follow when the Northern Hemisphere Winter's start". I didn't realize this but looking at the comments, pull out your Blossoming Ancient pet and it should still be a "Fall Foilage" not a winter one.

If I remember correctly when I did mine. Do not worry about that 6 hour respawn timer. These things were everywhere, there was ALWAYS at least one up. Enough for me to farm for a rare one.

If September 22 is last day of summer, then the owl starts spawning on the 23th. Not that is makes a difference, just for clarity's sake

Honestly, I never put much faith in Blizzard Customer Support. I've looked hours and hours for the Snowy Owl last year in October, and no sight of it. In fact, according to WoWhead, not a single player had found a Snowy Owl before November 1st last year. Then suddenly on November 1st there were Snowy Owls everywhere in Winterspring.

What they say doesn't sound right.

I've read that Winter now happens in December, but got different dates the 1st and the 21st

seems like bullshit , yet to find a person who got the pet recently

Just 2 seasons? 20th March and 22th Sep? wtf this retarded GM talking about?

Qiraji Guardling that spawns during SUMMER but did NOT spawn until late june says Hi!

Blossoming Ancient that changes appearance 4 times/year says Hi! also

    /facepalm
Why you think the Net was born? Porn! Porn! Porn!

The only correct answer is that nobody knows when it will begin spawning.

    It's pretty frustrating.

    Spawns until february 28th!

Apparently you only have to have an IQ of 100 to be a Blizzard Employee.
