I wouldn't introduce them because it's a very poor idea.

A whole race of Rubric Marines...

Anyway, WoW's got enough races. You won't see much of their "body" under armor - at least not more than Forsaken's joints. Then, how the hell would you customize the lack of face and features? They might be an interesting race lore-wise, high interdimensional fantasy and all that, but they would barely fit into the bigger picture.

Pandaren just feel SO lonely there at the bottom of the character login screen... so there MIGHT be another neutral race.

Well, think that they'd be remodelled like the rest, and then they'd indeed have some new customizable stuff, for sure.

think its enough for alot of people minus those who rather see something else first or those who tend to bitch for nothing, they give off that extremely mysterious feeling to them, they have a unique tech culture compared to the rest of alien and native draenor/azeroth races to the point i would classify it as magitech and they have the lore to back so much neutral gameplay

While it'd be cool to use them, I feel it's probably too much work to justify what essentially a small portion of players want. They have to re-model them so they're not all jagged-edged, they have to make a new version of all armour to fit how their body works, not to mention how annoying it would be having that trail they leave when they move all over your screen in raids.

As for lore reasoning, I guess you could have them neutral races essentially hired as mercenaries by Vol'jin/Varian to assist them in whatever battle we're facing up to at the time.

If we leave that animation for sprints only, then it'd be ok.

the merc part is what seems viable though granted any new races added need armor remakes, they will probly need weapon ones too i remember when panda's came out there males fists went through some weapons same with worgens

We already have a mongrel race in the Worgen (Who were gelded in beta, no less), we don't need the Arakkoa too. Aside from the one Birdman who helped the Alliance expedition, they don't have any ties to the Alliance. There were as many Gronn (Gruul) that helped the AEF, so by that logic the Gronn should be Alliance too. I just hate the idea of the Arakkoa on Alliance, they just don't fit. I agree that Ethereals should probably be neutral but aside from High Elves (Getting a unique model for them as well, no less) there really isn't any other option for possible Alliance-specific races.

sadly you are correct horde have many more races lined up for the next playable which is making alliance less timid in choice outside high elves, ethereals ill end up voting neutral but could be a alliance one too, for the arakkoa gotta remember alliance tends to look down on general evil creatures and the birdmen of draenor have always been this way except for that group in the main city in outlands which is based after the destruction not beforehand, only other thing to look into is the subspecies which is less viable and hybrid races such as the human-high elves or the orc-orges which is much less viable though granted i would considered the earthern and frostbourn with a slight remake to there model could be a seperate faction to the general dwarves and thats saying alot since i dont like them lol.

hell if blizzard did a single outside the company contract they could've had players do the bookwork and released things faster and had better focus on the game itself, i could even manage to add the castanic from Tera to the game if given the chance and promise to implentment and not saying i will was just a example lol.

Sure, that could work! Where it wouldn't work though is character customization. How could that work when all you have to customize are bandages and... ethereal SPACE PLASMA stuff?

could also add some body shaping to give more figure change between them since they do have the body for it, but wouldnt go too far to make one look like a giant squid and one being humanoid lol

Players have to go to Nagrand to the consortium camp, there, a group of Ethereals is building a city, but, they need mats, the whole realm needs to turn in Windwool/Linen Cloth/ Herbs etc etc 10000 of each item, before the Ethereals can finish their city and join the factions as a playable race.

sad to say that actually would be cool reminds me of FFXI but blizzard wont do that cause so far only unlockable i can recall was the lock-pally mounts and the death knight when it came out, though if they made races unlockable would actually be nice if they did that for pandarians
