Wan Jia? (Female Lich King cosplay?)

I don't just see the appeal(reason?) in sexualizng various characters that weren't sexy to start with, great examples being Walter White and Greedo.
Don't believe me then just google them.

Ill always take an original well done costume over a "my own spin" cosplay because there are so many "unique" spins to characters now days. The amount of variations on poison ivy for example is just ludicrous. But hey if that's your thing and want to do then go ahead. I just don't really care either way.

Okay...let me see if I understand this correctly. People are pissed that a cosplayer did a "sexy" version of a Lich Queen armor for some reason and think that she should cover herself up. Yet if this woman were to dress in a miniskirt, heels, and a low cut top and be catcalled I'm willing to bet many of those criticizing her would likely cry sexism and leap to her defense saying she had a right to wear what she wanted.

Well she's a cosplayer, and she has the right to make a sexy version of a character if that's what she wants to do. I thought she was very attractive but I wasn't thinking with my privates either, she didn't have the best costume but she had her own spin on it and that's all that matters.

Yes, this is one of the best examples of people being delusional hypocrites. Women often do this type of cosplay because that is what men WANT to see. Some of you are better off heading to Iraq where you can praise women covering everything except their eyes.

This woman seemed to have put in a lot of work into her costume, and a body to wear it. It probably took a bit of effort to get her costume and her body to look exactly like the artwork someone linked in this thread.

Not to mention the amount of confidence and/or self-convincing it'd take to show up wearing that and walk onto that stage in a LARP costume that exposes arguably more than half your body.

I thought her costume was well done too. Although she never placed. The person who won first place was some person doing a blood elf whatever. It was also well done. Although people are picking on her for her lack of costume and how much skin she showed? How about this. At least she was brave enough to go out there dressed like that. Unlike the majority of this forum who is bashing her for being "trashy". That really annoys me when someone points out stuff like that.

Although when I go to blizzcon sometime a year or so from now I'm going as one of my characters. (quite possibly either my shaman Zelerena or my Draenei Priest Celestreana) (and I know how they got those hoofs on. they are weirdly made shoes lol)

Anyways. I seriously think you should think about how much bravery it takes to go out in about thousands of people plus the Millions who are watching blizzcon on Direct TV...

Some people's hormones are so intense (or they haven't discovered porn on the interwebs) that scantily clothed = hot for them. Also, a lot of people don't look at the face, again, hormones, no porn, etc.


Butterfaces are never hot, no matter how attractive they are below the neck; they may have sexy bodies; but her face can ruin the 'immersion'. Though I'm the type to take a cute face with someone who dresses with modesty in public with a bit more to love above a half naked chick in public any day. these damn morals/standards, I can't fight them.

I don't think many of you get this... she was invited to come to blizzcon by blizzard. Many of the contestants were. I don't think she even cared to win, she's not a booth girl, she might be a model, but whether you guys like her or not, blizz wanted her there, and so that's why she was there.
