Warlords of Outland - not Draenor

All the events will take place in essentially the same zones. In the remnants we come to know as "Outland".. but what about the rest of Draenor? The other side of the planet? What chunk of lore are we missing out on?

The Ogre empire is mentioned, with the northern-most part of their continent barely visible on the map of Draenor. Whether we ever go there is up in the air.

I'm really curious what's going to happen with Netherstorm, since they said something about it being added in a future patch.

The most important thing to know is it will be called, most likely, Farahlon (or the Fields of Farahlon or something similar). Likely the Laughing Skull Clan will be located there. Something going on will, most likely, involve the defense of the city of Farahlon for (at least) Alliance.

I believe Outland was a soild land mass, surrounded by water, and will act as such. sorta like old Kalimdor.

(side note, pre explosion.. not okay.... pre living intervention azeroth ;emerald dream; okay...lol)

Outland is Draenor, or more specifically, the shattered remains of Draenor. To call it 'Outland' before its even become Outland is inaccurate.

I'll admit, I was under the impression via lore that Draenor literally detonated, and "Outland" was pretty much the largest remaining fragment that was habitable.

The Draenor->Outland connection makes it look like all that happened was the sea went away, and a few continents moved a little, but Draenor was left for the most part, largely intact.

This is Draenor, not Outland. Like "Kalimdor" which once encompassed most of the entire landmass of Azeroth, Draenor likely is the same, as there's been no "Shattering".

Please note, the "Ogre Empire" is slightly connected, and what I'm assuming is Farahlon is an island.

This is definitely "Draenor" and NOT just what will become Outland.

Also, it's fricking Outland. It doesn't have an "S" and it isn't plural. Getting so tired of people not knowing how to read their world map!

Because we've known what Draenor has looked like since WCII. Blame TBC for making Outland look so similar.

SO sick of hearing about Outland, ITS before Outland, seriously GO READ for yourself. It is being made from scratch. It is not Remodeled or Hashed. Also THIS is before the Outland incident occurred. In this upcoming expansion, it is DRAENOR not Outland.

All you people arguing over semantics need to take a chill pill. The area of Draenor that we're exploring is going to end up as Outland. The OP just wanted to know if anything is known about the rest of the planet beyond the areas we already know exist.

Draenor is Outland but Outland is only a portion of Draenor. Outland is the destroyed remnants of Draenor.

As well, this is not a rehash of Outland. Every zone is built from the ground up. I bet one of the biggest reasons they're doing it in the same location is a direct nod to long-time WoW players; they will get to see places they raided, places they PvP'd, and places they leveled in the first time as they existed in their pristine state.

I know I will never be able to look at leveling at 58 in Outland the same way again.

Outland = Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh, Terokkar Forest, Nagrand, Blade's Edge Mountinas, Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley.

Draenor = Tanaan (Jungle before it was turned into Hellfire), Sea of Zangar (Unsure if explorable), Talador (Shattrath will be a port city, so much more water than before), Nagrand (least changed zone, but most likely no floating islands and more ogres), Gorgrond (More ogres and gronn and home of the blackhand clan of orcs), Frostfire Ridge (completely new zone, no comparable land from Outland), Shadowmoon Valley (before gul'dan destroyed it with fel magics) and Spires of Arak (Another new zone with flying Arakkoa).

Netherstorm is an island to the north that hasn't been wracked by nether energies yet, so it will be completely different. And this is just one continent on the whole planet. Think of this like only having access to Eastern Kingdoms on Azeroth, there is still a whole lot we haven't seen.

In the present timeline, if you go to netherstorm there are a lot of Draenei ruins and the massive ships, maybe we are going to see the construction of the Exodar

Pretty much this. It would be interesting if there were other areas of the planet to explore in later patches. Maybe this is Blizzards chance to make up some lore to throw in so we can have stuff to do as the story progresses.

You do realize Outland is actually Draenor, Outland is what was left of Draenor.

There is a Orge contient at the bottom left of the map we have no clue how big it is, it could very well be the same size as the other contient on Draenor, I'm possitve we will see more of Draenor, but gameplay wise there is a good chance the land we know could span the entire planet & be the only land & be like Azeroth once was being known as Pangea.

Its prbly the Ogre continent at the bottom left of the Draenor map it may be the other continent on Draenor.

Farahlon will be featured in a patch

Are you saying that Draenor is the remnants of the planet known as''Outlands'' (which is written wrongly anyway, it's Outland, not ''Outlands)
Because that is really stupid if that's what you meant.

But it could be that I'm just terrible at reading...
