I want to know that once I install the hardware should I do a fresh install of windows 7? Also what other stuff will I need to do?

    Thanks

You not only should do a clean install, you'll likely -have- to. After that.. Drivers, and you're good to go.

Do you have a proper cooler and ram?

I've not ever had to try this, my Windows drive just pops into a new computer and after one safe-mode boot it's good, but prep your system like so and you may not have to reinstall Windows at all.

Be sure to have the latest version of your motherboard drivers downloaded and ready to install so you don't have to use potentially outdated ones from a disc.
    Super casual.
