Yeah the question is when and how long now and are we there yet and WHERE'S MY DAMN OGRE!?

Playable ogres would likely be about Tauren sized.

Also high elves would be a copy paste of blood elves and not a new race, where as ogres would be new as a playable race. Why would the Alliance have to settle for rehash race? Especially when the Horde would get a cool new race like Ogres? Seems like a raw deal.
We don't know how many High elves are neutral, we don't know how many are Alliance. We do, however, know that the majority of all High elf NPCs are Alliance-aligned. The High elves of the Silver Covenant was a small group to begin with, yes, but with the recent addition of the Kirin Tor into the Alliance, the many High elves within the Kirin Tor are not neutral anymore.

And there are many ways High elves could be implemented:

    1. The High elves could be implemented as a full race with a new model, new voiceovers, new racials, different race/class combos, Dalaran as their capital, Vereesa as their leader (or Alleria), etc. As a new model doesn't change your race, this wouldn't be lore breaking. It would also allow for the Blood elves to retain their unique model.

    2. The High elves could be implemented as a sub-race for Night elves. Nozdormu and the early player models for Blood elves is evidence enough that Blizzard can modify the Night elf models to do this.

    3. The Blood elves could move to the neutral faction and the starting zone could be Quel'Thalas during the Scourge Invasion. At the end you'd choose to be a High elf or a Blood elf. The Horde would get another race to replace the loss of the Blood elves which could be Ogres or another race.

Some Ogres in-game are shorter than Tauren.

Finally a horde race that I would enjoy rolling a shaman on.
I want a main Ogre Mage, but I wouldn't mind making a Ogre Shaman to. :P

Yeah and if you look at the ones in the Venture Co. they are even smaller than the Tauren.

Most are known to be large and in charge. :P

Different horn customizations would be awesome to.

I have already started collecting gear for ogre alts

I only fear that playable ogres may not have two heads, since head gear could very well clip over the other head (imagine a horned helm, with the horn passing throught the second head, or a cowl that overlaps some of the other face. It might even be worse if the head gear appears over both heads)

Only four spellcaster classes for Ogres so it could work out for two-heads for casters and then one-headed for the other ones.
One-headed Ogres could work to, but I would like a two-headed Ogre.

Just have a few switches that decide which head it goes on, like the 'show / hide' helm switch.

No, what I mean is: imagine a two-headed ogre using any of these sets:

    http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=1278
    http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=1390

Or any other that has anything (like horns) spreading to the sides. Most probably, the item would clip over the other head.

One-headed would be perfect then two, but most people want two-headed ones to. :/

Maybe only one head would have it on. It is only one helmet you just looted after all. :3

Two-heads would make everything silly, but one head will make everyone happy and me.

Problem is not allowing just one head to use head gear; it's the fact that a lot of head gear would clip over the second head (imagine a horned helmet's horn passing throught your second head).

It's weird that there is more support for ogres among Alliance players than among Horde players.

    Eh, clipping happens already.

If they really cared they could make it so the horns appear on only one side maybe?

Clipping happens already, yes, but it would be a lot more noticiable, since you would have things clipping over your head while in iddle animation.

    I voted "No(play both)".

While I have always beena horde player, and Horde is where the heart is, I'm currently playing alliance because that is where my IRL mates are playing these days.

I'm not interested in Ogres as a playable race, in the slightest. I can kinda see why they might be cool, or rather why other people might like them. But I wouldn't see me rolling one anytime soon. (unless they had an awesome mount in which case I might roll one to level to 40 to get all the mounts =p)

    Ogre mount cleft hoof, sorted.

Anyway I thought it was only spellcasters that had two heads?

No, any ogre may have two heads. Two heads make them smarter and able learn magic easily, but there may be two-headed ogre warriors.
