Optimal Use for Frost 2pc Bonus Proc (from Brainfreeze)

I'm just wondering the best way to spend the 20% extra damage proc. I'm thinking right now it would be FoF ice lance, especially with splitting ice and two targets and the guarenteed crit. I don't know about frost bolt though, as it has relatively low damage and won't always crit, but it generates icicles, which could make sense for a mastery heavy build. Also considering in the rare instance where you get a BF proc, use it, and then during the GCD get another BF proc (with NT and high haste build especially, or with meta gem proc/lust) that it could possibly be the best.

Excluding AoE situations and cone of cold, any thoughts?

I'd say priority is FoF Ice Lance -> BF FFB -> FrB

iirc FoF IL > Frostbolt > ffb

I'm not sure how it works for a spell like blizzard or CoC.

Straight single target it's FFB > FoF IL > FB. BF FFB hits harder than FoF IL post mastery.

I pity the OP. He just got 3 completely different answers to his question.

It depends heavily on your gear and reforge. This is with my Gear:

    SP 50812, Haste 50.00%, Crit 27.54%, Mastery 73.25%

1 target: BF FFB > FoF IL > Frostbolt > imp. CoC
2 targets: BF FFB > FoF IL > Frostbolt > imp. CoC
3 targets: BF FFB > FoF IL > Frostbolt > imp. CoC
4 targets: BF FFB > FoF IL > imp. CoC > Frostbolt
5 targets: BF FFB > FoF IL > imp. CoC > Frostbolt
6 targets: BF FFB > imp. CoC > FoF IL > Frostbolt
7 targets: BF FFB > imp. CoC > FoF IL > Frostbolt

Note: I will use procs over imp CoC in most situations, because CoC has an annoying cooldown and can´t be overwritten or fall off like a proc.

It's very similar on my end, except for prio on CoC with 3+ freezable targets when Freeze is not on cd. I think that crit+20% is totally worth it. Though I never bother with nova, because it usually breaks in less than on gcd.

I use imp. CoC + Nova on Garrosh heroic in P1. Pretty neat to see ~190k CoC crits with T16 2p. It´s a ~1.3 - ~1.5 million global.
