Sub-Race Photoshop Mockups

I would like for them just to have race specific scenarios for each sub-race option that gives a little backstory as to why they are suddenly a playable sub-race, which would definitely beat a line of dialogue in the starter zone. I would prefer sub-races be account-unlocked at max level instead of being available at level 1.

I would like to sit around for an hour talking about different approaches but I like all of these. But when I talk about how easy it is to open up some of these, I'm not saying to anything. I'm fairly strict in what should be a choice and have a lot of qualifiers. But as it is. Mag'har, Wildhammer, and Dark Irons are lorewise living in our capitols. They even almost gave use Wildhammer in Cata, and they DID intentionally alter all grey skinned dwarves to have red eyes, so we technically have Dark Irons, just weak ones.

It's still only Heroes of the Storm, not World of Warcraft. If this model appeared in the game itself, I'd be inclined to agree, but as it's in a totally different Game (I.P.) and thusly Universe (despite calling upon all the Blizzard Universes), I doubt this is a hint, or even a sign of what might eventually be.

I think it's just interesting to note that all races, regardless of being an Orc or not, turn red when exposed to enough Demon juice. Though I'm more interested in his model and whether it has any correlation to what we might see in terms of a new Night Elf model in WoD.

Don't tell anyone, but as much I love every race in this game, I am secretly a night elf, and this game is the World of Elrith. Elrith being my Night Elf warrior, born on 12/9/2004. One day Ashenvale will be cleansed anew, and the Warsong will be wiped from the planar realms forever.

Why, I wouldn't be opposed to this being played at my funeral in real life while everyone wondered WTF they were listening to.

It don't matter, yo. What matters is it looks awesome and the basic poise and detail of the model itself puts WOW's to shame and we will be lucky if we get a body with hair or posture half that good looking in WOW's scale and style. Talk about missing the point. HOTS has a number of incredible models. This is as much a thread about a joy of Blizzard's art work as it is the pedantic nerd encyclopedias we all memorize in the lore bureaucracy.

Cripes, such awesome. And the mechanics are so much more fun than WC3's, metamorph totally altered in it's functionality and application. Blizzard's artists are on the top of their game. And to think, a year ago people were claiming because of the Worgen female "this project doesn't matter anyways, because "Worgen Female". More skulls for the skull throne.
