It was kinda obvious that Tara would die this season.
They cant let the protagonist go to jail for that long.

Right when you think Tara got out of all that shit and Jax gained an ounce of morality bam! Somebody should have put a leash on Jemma a long long time ago. Seeing Eli die was like watching Gomez die in Breaking Bad. An honest stand up guy just doing their job and then boom, gone like the wind...man and how they just left the bodies sitting there...and Juice's dumbass, I can't wait until he gets whats coming to him. I had sympathy for the dude up till a couple of episodes as a guy who really wanted to belong and made a few mistakes but fuck him now, he is a psychopath. If the entire MC dies at the end I wouldn't be made at all, Chibs is the only one that I can't remember actually going out of their way to be a complete asshole (as far as outlaws go).

Miguel Prado is going to hang all of them.

Well, consider that Sons of Anarchy is basically current day Hamlet.

Everyone is going to die, and next season is going to be grotesquely violent and bloody. Jax is going to spiral into depression and madness. This will likely lead him to killing Juice or having Juice killed. Bobby will think Jax did it our of rage, as he will do it without a vote, which will lead to a confrontation. Bobby will be forced to try and take control of the club, it will blow up, Bobby will kill Jax, and Chibbs will kill Bobby; Chibbs will be the only one left alive to tell the story of SAMCRO.

I wounder what sort shocking and horrific thing they will do to open up next season to reel in the viewers, and then promptly ignore for the rest of the season. Better be big because they set the bar high, and kind of like a Peter Molyneux promise now the viewing audience already knows before hand it is mostly smoke and mirrors.

Didn't Shane drop the grenade into Lem's lap during a season finale as well? If so, Tara's death was just Kurt's shocker taken to the next level. Jax won't die in the last season, but his existence will be excruciating from day to day. Remember how The Shield ended.

Probably shouldn't have clicked this link, seeing that I took a hiatus from this show at ep 1. of this season. Total derp on my part.

I'll catch up on it, but this show really went from must-watch on my list to "eh, nothing else is on" status..the idea that Jax is clever enough to orchestrate the imprisonment of Clay, the murder of the drug boss guy last season, etc, but somehow retarded enough to NOT see that his mother, who not only had a hand in killing his father, almost killing his children, framing his ex, somehow isn't entirely complicit in putting Tara in jail.

So lets not cut those apron strings, leave the state and promptly tell her to fuck off. No no, lets just be utterly oblivious. Because she deserved a second chance as a babysitter. Or something.

Shitty writing that, in retrospect, stepped into absurdville the minute they boarded a plain for Ireland, and has just gotten increasingly preposterous.

^ Jax's story is convincing to me because he is sociopath caught up in his own BS. He is just as bad if not worse than Clay. He is definitely more manipulative and conniving than Clay, i.e. Juice should have been dead a long time ago but Jax kept him around as a puppet. Nero could have showed him a way out and he ruined that. He dragged Tara down with him. His lies and secrets gotten a bunch of people killed. How many bridges has that man burned? And he gets it all from his mom, who has almost a Freudian love for.

I've read Hamlet and know that SoA is based on the play but I don't remember all the fine details so I don't reference often. Its weird that I remembered so much about it. Remembered the word I was looking for too, Oedipus complex, Jax has an Oedipus complex towards his mom.

The scene was kind of disturbing as far TV goes. Tara was still fighting after taking a couple of stabs to head. That would be awful to go through in real life
