    What is PCB

    I recently purchased the Coolermaster HAF 912 case. Reading over the instructions, it has a note saying "Please ensure the PCB is facing upward when installing the 2.5" HDD in order to prevent short circuit." The SSD I purchased was Samsung Electronics 840 Pro Series 2.5-Inch 256 GB SATA 6GB/s Solid State Drive MZ-7PD256BW. Does anyone have any idea what PCB means? Printed Circuit Board maybe? If so, what does that mean in relation? Is it telling me to make sure a certain side of the SSD is facing up? If so, what side?

    Face it with the samsung logo upwards.

    Some harddrives have an exposed PCB that looks like this:



    That is the PCB it is referring to.

    Your SSD has a case that surrounds the PCB, so mount it with the Samsung logo showing up, like this:
