New PC build for xmas present

Looking for some help on building a new PC for my girlfriend for Christmas, I live near a Microcenter in KS so I'd like to pick up everything at the store but open to online retailers if I can save a lot. This PC will be used only for WoW, D3 and maybe some LoL. Its been awhile since I've built a PC, my PC was built back when the Core 2 Duo E8400 was released and I've had that running stable for years with a 4.0OC. I've upgraded the GPU to 7870 recently and it still does fine with WoW/D3. Any advice for the new build would be greatly appreciated as I haven't kept up with the newer hardware.

    Budget - $600-800
    Resolution - 1920 x 1080 or 1920 X 1200
    Games / Settings Desired - WoW, D3, LoL / High/Ultra possible?
Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc) - None.
    Country - US, KS
Parts that can be reused - A HD, I would like to purchase a SSD though.
Do you need an OS? - Yes
Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)? - Only peripherals I need are a monitor

    Thanks

You really only want to buy CPU and MOBO at microcenter, buy everything else online to avoid sales tax.

Man your microcenter sucks lol, the best deal they have is out of stock:

    http://www.microcenter.com/site/prod...d_bundles.aspx

What you want is the fx 6300 bundled with either the asus or gigagyte motherboard for 89.99 but both of those boards are out of stock at your place. This is really an outstanding deal so you need to wait on these boards to come back in stock, either board is fine. (call them and ask if they know when these boards are coming back in stock).

Ok so that microcenter out of the way, you dont want to purchase anything else there. Total is under 100 bucks from microcenter.

    SSD:

    Total in cart: 741.62

    Microcenter total: 96.54

    Grand total: 838.16

Considering you needed an OS, SSD and a monitor this is a very good system for the money. Just today they lowered the fx 6300 combo deal to 89.99, past couple months it was 109.99 and even then it was a good deal, just gotta call them and find out when those motherboards are coming back in stock for your store (im in minnesota, they have 10+ of each lol).

Thanks, worth it to just spring the extra $20 for the MSI mobo? They didn't know ETA, don't wanna miss out on the deal for the CPU.

Usually i would say wait it out for the cheaper boards cause at 119.99+ tax its not an outstanding deal (still good tho) for the msi board, but it seems at your microcenter those combo deals are selling like hotcakes and you probably want to build by christmas, in that case id say go for it before the 6300 sells out lol.

It will be 141 bucks after tax with 10 dollar MIR. If you bought from newegg it would be 200, so still a pretty good savings.
