Looking for input on a computer build

Budget: $1200-1300 AUD (Probably around 1k USD)
Resolution: Dual monitor 1920x1080 and 1280x1024
Games / Settings Desired: WoW 25mans on max with decent FPS. Most RPGs/other games on max
Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc): Nope
    Country: Australia
Parts that can be reused: Not really
Do you need an OS?: Yeah, was thinking of sticking with Windows 7
Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)?: No

So far my build is looking like: pcpartpicker com/p/2qT7v

My knowledge of computers is somewhat limited, I can't really tell the difference between things like the RAM and PSU apart from obviously the big numbers. However I think what I've got so far is half decent and would love some feedback from someone who keeps up-to-date with the tech side of things.

    Thanks :)

P.S - low post count means I can't post links, sorry

Looks good. A few things though, since you're going with a 'k' cpu change the mobo to a z87 socket, something like the asrock extreme4 z87 cause it'll allow you to overclock. The rest looks solid.

Looks really solid. Like the poster above said go with a z87 for the OC part. Also I would recommend an aftermarket CPU cooler. Going with a K chip after all. Something like an H100 is simple to install and pretty damn effective.

I also like to toss a few aftermarket fans in. Usually a lot more quiet and effective than the things that come in a case.

Thanks a heap for the feedback, I'll definitely look into a different motherboard and potentially another CPU fan.

Drop the 280x to a GTX760, to guarantee it fits in the budget.
