    This will be my spot.

    MY SPOT !!!

    - The first great film of the year was Lars von Trier’s disturbing(ly beautiful) Nymphomaniac. Four hours and fifteen minutes - yet I was lunging for the original six hour cut as it was ending. This is an art house masterpiece with layered symbolism and twisted storytelling.

I don’t rank films until the end of the year, so I’ll probably just mention the films I’ve liked and why. Expect some unconventional choices.

Disney has a Star Wars Distribution Scheduled for that day, and it is listed as I typed it. Doesn't mean it's episode 7, might be another Star Wars Anime, which would be cool as well.

I've been looking forward to this movie since I first saw it appear on Darren Aronofsky's IMDb page a few years back, did a double-take, and cheered that such a thing was coming to be.

It's almost here, and so far, it looks like it won't disappoint. I'm hoping the liberties he takes with the story don't do too much to turn off those who believe, as the Genesis account is already startling enough in my opinion.

Noah is definitely my most anticipated film of 2014. I don't see movies in the theater very often anymore, but this one I will.

And probably the last Hobbit film. Maybe Ridley Scott's Exodus, maybe Christopher Nolan's Interstellar.

    1. Lone Survivor: 11/10 So far it is one of the best movies I've ever seen and also a great movie for the start of 2014. The movie moved along so well and i was at the edge of my seat throughout most of the movie. I highly recommend this movie.

Mind if I join in ?
only adding movies I have seen
    1 -
    2 -
    3 - Edge of Tomorrow.
    4 -
    5 -
    6 -
    7 -
8 - Noah, bit slow to get started, but an ok movie none the less.
9 - Robocop, interesting take on the classic. However not violent enough, no blood, and he has a real hand. What in the hell is this ???
10 - Lone Survivor, Bottom of the list, and will no doubt be pushed off over the course of the year.

List of films I want to see.

    I, Frankenstein 1/24/14
    Robocop 2/12/14
    Captain Ameria: Winter Soldier 4/414
    Robopocalypse 4/25/14
    Godzilla 5/16/14
    Maleficent 5/30/14
    Transformers: Age of Extintion 6/27/14
    Guardians of the Galaxy 8/1/14
    Star Wars: Episode VII 12/18
Do not watch I, Frankenstein... I already knew it was gonna be pretty awful when I 1st went to see it, but a friend of my (a girl... /sigh), really wanted to watch it, so after ignoring my warnings, three of us went to watch it... it was hilarious, I laughed throughout the film... it was the worst film I've ever seen, of almost any budget... just pathetic acting, writing and directing... can't think of anything positive to say about it, except for the giggles me and my other pal had...
Remarkabley... she enjoyed it... she said that while the film was indeed horrible, the "effects" were worth it... I think shes lying.

Same here, haha. Really impressed with the reviews. Seems like it'll be above 95%(99% atm) on RT.

Haven't written my review yet, but the LEGO Movie is easily entering at number 1. First good movie from 2014, really good actually, I'll write my review but man if it had been a 2013 film it probably would have made my top 10 of 2013 list.
