    Hey guys

What is the best way to learn Countries/Capitals in your experience?

What would you recommend me to do?

Edit : got exam tomorrow for Countries and Capitals excluding Africa.

    Read a map?

Seriously, you only need to learn 2 words per country.

It's like asking how to learn basic math.

    Games involving this.

Find an App that asks you to place countries and capitals.

That might be tough considering a large number of people can't find their own state on a map...

You think "reading a map" is the BEST way to learn geopgraphy?

Really? Is that your honest belief or were you just trying to be a fucking asshole?

Cattaclysmic mentioned games that involve this and I agree with that. Interactivity that educates is almost always some of the best teaching methods, I'd say.

Travel to each of them. Ok, it will take a bit time and money, but you will remember it best

Make small cards write on one side the capital on the other the country.

Or make an association cluster and write the capital the city and one thing you strongly associate with said country.
Paris-Redwhine France (you can combine it with the above method too)

    Why excluding africa lol?

I just always had my head in atlases and encyclopedias since a very young age.

As an adult, I don't know if there's a better way than that.

Just like Wales, Scotland is its own country with its own capital. They even have their own EU representatives.

Best way to learn is through entertainment. Music, games, videos.

Back when the internet was pretty new, you could buy huge packets of discs, they had great games for learning and you could probably still get them online somewhere, not sure how well they would run on newer OS, surely there is a way.

Depends on whether or not you ask the Scottish.

And this was from the early 90s. I believe like half the nations he lists in Africa don't exist anymore.
