    Garrosh 10M - P3 Bloodlust precise timing

We are not sure when exactly to cast bloolust during last phase of Garrosh...

Because some forums reads to cast it right when he runs to the middle of room...

But we are under the impression, that his life increases back to 25% at the end of his middle speech, and not right when he goes middle. So having bloodlust right away is quite a dps waste.

Anyone gets a clear thought about the right-efficient timing ?

    Thank you

The boss goes to 35-40% (can't remember exactly if normal had any difference from heroic) minus whatever damage you did to him while he was doing the speech. It's therefore not wasted DPS.

He adds a chunk of his life back on, but it's always the same amount.

If you take 5% off him while he's talking, it'll be 5% that's not there when he gains the health.

As has been stated, he heals for a specific amount of health, not to a set point, meaning damage done during the speech will result in a smaller health pool after he heals up.

He moves to the center at 10% and then he heals a static 20% health.

The only concern is, if your raid under heroism can do over 10% of his health when he first moves to the center of the room, then you want to delay it a bit because if he hits 0% during the transition the damage you do is wasted because he will still heal 20%.

However, I feel if your raid DPS is strong enough to do that much damage during the transition, you probably don't care much anyway. So best bet, hit heroism when he moves to the middle because people can stand and burn and maximize the damage.

    That clarifies perfectly...

    Thanks all

Alternative strat: if you're 2-healing it you can also try to push the boss into p3 very early. We used BL after the first Empowered Whirlwind in order to be sure to push the boss in p3 before the second Empowered Whirlwind (and that way, the BL may overlap with the beginning of p3, depending on how fast we reach p3).

If your talking heroic, he will heal for 30%, so you should hold off on bloodlust and potions if you can hit 0% before he heals and then you have wasted dps, of course on heroic this is no simple feat.

He adds like 20% to whatever he has when he stops transforming (i.e you phase him at 10% if you don't dps him at all he will have 30%) So you should blood lust as soon as he runs to the middle as this is free dps time with no incoming damage etc

Always lust when he runs to the middle @ 10%, as you have execute with lust up, i.e. DPS increase.
    Warlock shadowburns, mmm.

If you can avoid a second Empowered Whirlwind before transition it's good to do that - if your dps is cranking high you can call lust a little early and get that done. It means slightly harder work after transition, but not having to kill that set of adds makes a huge difference in quality of life.
