It is the new version of the Annual Pass. If you sell WOD now, and give away a free 90 for a pre-purchase of the game, you not only give players something new to do, play with a 90, but you lock them into playing WOD.

You don't get anything the people at launch won't get so no it is not like the annual pass.

I don't think preorders for Mists or Cataclysm happened until after their release dates were announced. which was well after their beta started and even after the major patch hit the ptr. We're not even close to that.

Well i guess WoD release june 24th so they give you 3-4 months to play with your new 90 and a blue dev said about the 90 pre order that it will give you time to maybe even get your legendary cloak which does take some time.

2nd time I see this 'WoD release june 24th' stuff, what's the source that started this rumour?
