    Account retrieval question

Sooo i have a account that i currently cant log into.
    1) Because i forgot the security question (made the account in Tbc) so im thinking i put something stupid as the security question and now i cant remember it.
    2) I dont have my serial number for the purchasing the game from moving, etc.

So now i live in japan so i cant call blizzard since im in the military dorms with no phone. Anyways to make it quick i got 2 questions

    1) How can i retrieve my account? I got the authenticator i hooked up to it and personal ID
    2) How can i change my security question so i dont go through this again

Probably by email is your best bet but might take a bit now if you had a phone you can get your account back in a heartbeat :P

A contact through customer support via email. Make sure you get the right department mail, then you write down the details you recall as well as your contact + documentation. Though, at times it's easier to have them callback but if unable, the email function should work too.

You can definitely get it back. I got my old vanilla account back recently, was a breeze. They will just ask you a bunch of questions that relate, like account name, name of a character on the account, etc if u answer enough you will be able to get it.

Seems like mine was your first model car. Problem was I couldn't remember if I actually put in my first one I drove or the first one I bought and paid for. I also couldn't remember the variation I used as in did I just put in Ford, or Ford Escort, 86 Ford Escort, just Escort, or some variation on Nissan Pickup. I got it eventually ( and my wife took a screen shot once we got it) but it took me a couple of days to do it. If you had a Vanilla account its been 9 years since you set it up, people do forget things.

The 'secret question' is asked by a Blizzard employee, it's not an answer you type, wher you have to get it 100% correct..
If you answer 'Ford Escort' where you have stated 'Escort 86', he'll know it's you (everyone knows Escort is made by Ford, and year isn't really important), and he'll accept the answer..

I had this issue, only a month or two ago, where he asked me of 'place of birth', and I couldn't remember if I had stated the city or the hospital..
I said "It's either XXXXX or YYYYY", to which he replied "Correct"....

If you purposfully enter wrong info, then you don't deserve to get your account back..
