Ukraine military shoot civilians in Mariupol (Donetzk oblast')

4:25 they shoot a guy when he raised his arms. 7:05 guy in blue coat got shot, probably killed. 7.40- several more are wounded. 8.00 - a guy is killed, headshot most probably. You can hear people raging and and cursing in Russian there. No way Donetzk gonna be under Kiev after that and what happened in Odessa.

    Lol. Putin's bluff.
    This is James bond material.
Anyway, diversification is great. Unfortunately eastern European countries rely fully on Russian resources. That's unacceptable and Europe needs to sort it out for you. They're doing it. Happy days, I'm agreeing with that.

What I don't agree is the call for isolation. Something that mccain for example blamed europe to not work on right in your own country.

oh and also, there is no way that anyone could supply the amount we get from russia at that price.
Diversification is needed as to bring eastern European countries to western standards. Other than that it hurts our economy so no thank you.

But after the annexation of Crimea - and the failure by Russia to act after the Geneva talks - the number of people prepared to trust Russia again is small.
Sums it up pretty good. Except for Djalil who would trust Putin if he claimed he could fart pigeons out his ass
But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.

"If the government can not protect the people , it must be given the tools to the public. We are ready to defend ourselves , "- he said.

On the question of whether the miners are ready to organize a guerrilla movement , Gurov said, "Yes , the guerrilla movement , if there is no other way ."

Recall May 4 Novogrodovka militants captured six people. Among them were four miners who were tortured and beaten.

It did offer a chance of peace-talks,thugs answered with same old ''no legitimate power to talk, nazisfascistsomg'' non-sense.Kiev was offering an amnesty of sorts if they do give up.
If Ukranian army doesnt control those regions and if need be,introduces a curfew of sorts, worms from Slovyansk and Donetsk will get closer and closer to Kiev. They dont hide their intentions of saboting presidential elections and cock-blocking every decision made there.
I wont be suprised if long-term goal to cut off Ukraine from access to sea - having acces to Azov wont cut it, Russians can block or tax the small strait between now annexed Crimea and Russian mainland.

When exactly did they offer such thing?
    Lovely terminology. Worms.
Let me ask you, did you consider Maidan protesters, which basically did the same thing, worms too?

Russia agreed to help defuse the situation and work for the separatists stopping their occupation of public buildings in return for amnesty.
Not a single public comment directed to them untill was it yesterday and it is probably just a try to avoid further EU sanctions which they know are coming due to Russias inability or unwillingness to act in accordance with the agreement.

Meanwhile Putins state tv cable out news after news praising the heroic "self defense force", seem odd..

Putins recent U-turn seem quite logical now, his foreign policy is devastating for the Russian economy. ECB lowered the interest rates recently as some of you might know, one reason being the need for the Euro to depreciate. This is failing due to the immense capital flight from Russia, which of course was accelerated by the Russian involvement in Ukraine. In fact, it may be closer to $220 billion, this makes the Euro appreciate despite the lowered interest rates.

Edit: Sorry, they kept the rates at a record low.

That might come as a surprise to you but geneva itself was a surprise agreement that Russia supported. Russia together with the west called for everyone to drop weapons:
    http://uk.mobile.reuters.com/article...40418?irpc=932

Since then separatists haven't moved an inch and government is still sending troops.
How is this "russia failing to act upon geneva"?
Did we the west call for calm? Are we doing anything about those 3000 volunteers to join national guard?
the National Guard, founded in March, is based on the old Interior Ministry paramilitary force of 33,000, and will be augmented by some 3,000 volunteers. Some come from the "self-defence forces" involved in demonstrations early this year that eventually forced pro-Russian president Yanukovich to flee.
    from reuters

This is clearly a step in the wrong way and a very dangerous one as such. Do you see the west condamning kiev for this?

    On the capital flight....

The European Central Bank says capital flight from Russia since the Ukraine crisis erupted may be four times higher than admitted by the Kremlin, a clear sign that sanctions pressure is inflicting serious damage on the Russian economy.

Mario Draghi, the ECB’s president, said the outflows from Russia have been large enough over recent weeks to push up the euro exchange rate, complicating monetary policy for the ECB.

“We had very significant outflows that have been estimated by some to be in the order of €160bn out of Russia,” he said, without specifying where the information came from.

This is equivalent to $222bn. It is the highest figure suggested so far by a senior official with access to confidential data. The Russian finance ministry said outflows had been just $51bn in the first quarter, though the total has almost certainly risen since then.

“Draghi’s figure is a huge amount. If this is correct, it shows that Russia is in much more trouble than people think,” said Tim Ash, from Standard Bank. “This is the same scale of outflows we saw in late 2008 after the Lehman crisis.”
The nerve is called the "nerve of awareness". You cant dissect it. Its a current that runs up the center of your spine. I dont know if any of you have sat down, crossed your legs, smoked DMT, and watch what happens... but what happens to me is this big thing goes RRRRRRRRRAAAAAWWW! up my spine and flashes in my brain... well apparently thats whats going to happen if I do this stuff...

Maidan wanted political change without following correct procedure.
    Same with separatists.

Yanukovich was a corrupt asshole. That would have been reflected on the elections that we're going to be held a few months from now.

Djalil do you understand the concept of chronological order?
You do understand that the amnesty has been an option the entire time and for almost two weeks Russia havent lifted a finger to ease the situation and then you are suprised that Ukraine two fucking weeks later get tired of the separatists with Kremlins silent aproval and form a volunteer force, a force which I just like you would rather not see but I cant blame Kiev for getting tired of separatists with limited support.

Two week of silence from Kremlin mixed with encouragement for the separatists unavoidably leads to an escalation.

The associated costs with the annexation of Crimea for the Russian State (taxpayers), is estimated to be 0, 5% of the GDP, higher pensions, administrative costs, etc. Thats around 2 million people. If Russia would annex the rebelling areas in the east, with roughly 13 million citizens this would obviously increase. Russia cant afford it without pushing the economy into recession.
