5. Auctionator
6. AtlasLoot
7. DeathNote
8. GTFO
9. Postal
10. Blood Legion Cooldown
these are the 10 I couldn't play without, in alphabetic order as they appear in the addon list:
- AdiBags (I always used bagnon for an all-in-one inventory, but it started bugging out on me a patch ago)
- Auctionator
- Bartender
- EavesDrop (a tidy "combat log" window I've been using for years now)
- OmniCC
- Postal
- Shadow Unit Frames
- Skada
- Tidy Plates
- DBM
Honorable mentions:
- Atlasloot (after a while you know which boss drops what, but until then it's better to double check)
- Clique (for when I play a healer which happens pretty much never)
- Examiner (it was a close call between this and postal for the top 10. Inspecting without it just doesn't feel right)
- GladiatorlosSA + Battleground Targets + SeeCD (for random battleground fun)
- Omen (from the time we still needed to watch our threat)
- Tradeforwarder (from the time I was still looking for random groups for stuff)
For me it is
Reccount
DBM
titan panel
Postal
Aucinator
Bagnon

1. ACP (AddonControlPanel)
2. Weakauras

8. tidy Plates
9. vudoo
I agree with this list.
Weak Auras is by far the best addon available and absolutely everyone should have it and learn how to use it.
Bartender, Bagnon, Postal, different AH addons to search and buy more efficiently and couple chat addons are really nice but for actual gameplay the list Anzen made is pretty much what I'd say as well.
9thorder.com | Recruiting exceptional players!
Opie - too many buttons, this helps a bit.
Arkinventory - not the easiest to use, but with others i've tried being buggy or just annoying in some other way, i've just gone back to this. Adibags or Cargbags Nivaya being problematic.
Ackis Recipe List - a collector in more ways than one.
TidyPlates - can't quite get the functionality I want in others.
Atlasloot - if you look beyond the obvious boss loot tables, there is a considerable amount there.
Postal - just a good time saver.
Spellspy - not a "useful" addon usually, but fun for link fodder and just occasionally getting the link of a spell or buff might be useful.
Tend to be in-between many addons at times, so most others I am not set on yet, and the bag addon could change yet again.
Not in a particular order but:
DBM
_NPCScan
AdiBags - It's basically an extended/advanced version of Bagnon where you can also sort your stuff in categories
RaidAchievement - helps greatly if you're trying to get an achievement in a raid but are not sure if someone didn't fail it or whether it's done now
Rarity
Archy - probably the greatest Archaeology addon possible
Titan Panel
TipTac
TomTom - basically works like an in-game GPS and there's many addons that work with it
MogIt - transmog addon that also shows you how your character would look with the item, you're hovering, equipped
OverAchiever - for achievement junkies
1) Auctioneer
2) Bartender4
3) DBM
4) Adibags
5) Autoturnin
6) Vuhdo
7) Weakauras2
8) Postal
9) Tidyplates
10) Atlasloot
Honorable mention goes to TRP2 and MogIt for my characters on RP realms.
1. DBM
2. BadBoy
3. Recount
4. Postal
5. Gatherer
And generally Elv UI.
These are basically the only addons I ever use, so they're the only ones I can rate.

Gladius is nice, not neccesary. I always use it in arenas, if I don't forget to enable it.
ReforgeLite is amazing, but I prefer to compare that addon with my own statsweight in Askmrrobot and pick my favourite at that moment.
Rarity is not that useful, but it helps not annoying myself with recalculating the probability when a mount didn't drop again
