    Tricks of the trade question

This may be a dumb question but: Do tricks of the trade snapshot?

  2. #2
This is a good question, but it did not bother me in the past, since we do not have a rogue in our raid.
But I did some testing with the result: http://wowhead.com/spell=57934 does snapshot for dots.

Tested it with a warlock with not trinkets, weapons and cloak on a target dummy.
2 times with tricks after applying the debuff, 2 times with tricks active on the cast.
Refreshing does work like any other buff, it removes the gain, when tricks is not active any more.

This proves your and Natezz's posts on the german WoW forum wrong.

Can also confirm that it does, since WOTLK when it was introduced. Works like any regular buff. However, it won't in WoD.

Never thought about this but now that we've started 25 mans this is going to become more relevant I'm sure. Does anyone know if affdots recognizes it? I guess I should make a weakaura for it regardless

Because it was even more silly for that build. Your DoTs would last from 100% to 0% while being empowered beyond OP.
