    NCSoft - Can't create account

    I go to http://us.ncsoft.com/uk/ , click create account, fill in my info and click the "Create NC account" button..
    I then get the following error "There was an error creating your account. Please re-enter your account information."
    I have checkmarks after all fields.. I have tried both on PC and my iPad.. I've tried different emails, passwords and usernames.. Northing works..
    This have been going on the last 5 days now..

    I have even gone to http://global.ncsoft.com/global/support/request.aspx and tried to make a ticket about it... However, the mail is bounced back to me from NCSoft's own mail server, saying that webmaster@ncsoft.com doesn't exist..

    Anyone else having problems?

    Do you use IE as your browser by any chance ? If so, try switching to a different one. Had similar issues with several sites (not specifically with NCSoft) and were all resolved when I switched to Chrome.

    try making your password harder, add a @ to the end. worked for me

    I have tried on a PC with MSIE
    I have tried on iPad with Safari and Chrome
    Password displays a checkmark (indicating it should be OK) and conform to the rules displayed in the popup-window. I use small/big letters combo AND have numbers aswell..
    Birthdate switch to checkmark, once I finish entering my birthday..

    I had a similar issue once when changing my email password, disable your pop up blocker if you have one.

    I had the same problem, but mine was fixed by simply entering a password that was different from the one I normally use.

    I had same issue sent 2 requests for tickets and nothing.

    How did you make tickets, if you couldn't create an account?


    Anyway, I finally succeded: I added an additional @ to my password, and it worked....

    I`ve done all of this and more and I still get the same error. Tried three different emails, all sorts of password variations and nothing is helping. This is about the sloppiest thing I`ve ever experienced in an online game, and unless I can fix it soon I will return the game and demand my money back tomorrow.

    I have the exact same problem.

    I just bought the Guild Wars Trilogy on S t e a m. When installing, S t e a m said you need to go to the Guild Wars website to create an account and sync it with S t e a m, but the button was greyed out. I manually went to the GW site and there's no option to sign up. I searched the FAQ and went to the question about creating and securing an account. I then clicked the link in the FAQ, filled out the form, had ticks next to every field and got the There was an error creating your account. Please re-enter your account information error. I added an extra symbol to the password as suggested and tried it in Chrome too. I have no pop up blocker.

    Logged a ticket but not holding my breath after reading this thread.
