Current H-Animus strat?

Guild killed this on heroic sometime in 5.4 with a zerg/burn strat but went back a second time for some undergeared alts and people who hadn't seen it before and weren't able to burn.

What's the current optimal strat for people who aren't geared? Just wondering which adds are killed, which are awakened, etc, to make it reliable.

Depending on how undergeared, if you can't just straight up zerg him, dump everyone of the actual active smalls into one massive, and just leave the deactivated smalls to their own devices.

Undergeared alts who hadn't seen the fight before and are not able to burn him? My best advice would be to get the hell out of there and never return. Seriously, you don't want to progress this again the regular way, the gear is definitely not worth it.

2-tank, put three small adds on each tank, fill one Massive. That should give you more than enough time to burn him without going full zerg mode.

the same zerg / burn strat that actually worked when this was current still works now, much more easily than before. not sure how undergeared your group was, but I've done it recently with a group that averaged 510 ilvl.

someone was doing it wrong if it didn't work. make sure people aren't confusing zerg / burn STRAT with just simple zerg / burn. It's not what most ppl think of when you say zerg, never was, and never will be. Zerg really wasn't the appropriate word for the strat, makes ppl mistakenly think it's just like how they do it in lfr.
