Yes. Gimme dat alpha female Worgen, please. And more facial variation would be nice, compared to what we've seen so far!

Dwarf males from this video matched to current faces:
I am not 100% sure about some of the green and blue eyed ones.
I'm fairly certain on some of them. Look at lower left with the brown eyes: you can see how the creases on the nose and between the eyes match up. And there's only one new face with purple-tinted eyes, so that's an easy match for old crazyface second from the top.
Taking a look at female dwarves now. I know there's already a comparison, but it doesn't have all the faces.
Afraid I'm not getting a crisp enough screenshot off that video to match up the female dwarves confidently. Anyway, it's clear they need a bit more work. All very samey at the moment.
I'd like to see some slight variations to the actual model geometry rather than just some brushed on lines and wrinkles to the model's texture. Some very slight morphs to things like the nose, lips, eyes, ears and the shape of the head would make a big difference.
This is exactly what I was afraid of - they used the same meshes with no variation at all, and pushed the burden of differentiating one face from another off on the texture maps. It's not enough. There's little enough customization in the game as it is. I know, I know, ten year old engine. Games had more customization than this ten years ago.
They managed a great deal of differentiation in goblins just with separate noses and ears. They could've done that with these models. We've seen the range of movement these models have to be capable of, and I'm positive they could've made the meshes very slightly different (slightly longer nose here, lower cheekbones there) without interfering with that range of movement or with the hair meshes clipping. Customization just isn't important enough to these people.
I agree that it's same face, but I honestly don't care. If people want to look at another game and cry, go check out the character creation for Black Desert. You can actually edit the mesh yourself on tops of lots of ridiculous things. It's a little uncanny valley, but completely mind blowing.

I am loving the face models I am seeing. It is true that some don't match 100% to the original low resolution face.. but there is still time for them to get fixed.
I tried editing slightly the ones shown here into something that reminds me closer the original.. but there is still alot of detail to be added to them. The tones were done really roughly and I didn't really take the time to trace the original faces.. anyhow.
I don't think it is difficult to get the new HD faces to match to the old ones.. so I am thinking that there might be animation restrictions.. or simply it just being a matter of time.
I can totally identify with the posters who are upset.. but lets try not to lose our cool yet. Everything is still in development.
I think the eye colour should be a separate customization option.
