Looking for help building a new system to replace 6+ year old PC

I haven't built a PC in years so I was looking for some help from more knowledgeable people so I can get a PC ready to mythic raid in WoD primarily. I know I definitely need/want an Intel chipset, but I have no idea what the difference is for stuff now like Intel CPUs (i3,i5,i7 etc.),what sort of Nvidia GPU, other part brands, or hell, even PSU wattage requirements.

    • $1000USD to budget on it. Some wiggle room up if needed, but if I don't need to spend this much, all the better!
    • Want an Intel CPU, Nvidia GPU, at least 8GB RAM, ~150GB SSD + decent HHD for storage, and DVD drive.
    • Current resolution: 1680x1050, 23" LCD.
    • I only really play WoW, D3, and Skyrim. Would like to be able to play SW:ToR and Rome: Total War 2 occasionally. Need to be able to handle 25 man WoW raids relatively smoothly. Looking for 'good/high' quality settings in games. I don't really care about 'ultra' settings.
    • I don't really use my computer for anything else aside from the games listed and general internet browsing/netflix.
    • Location: United States
    • Current PC is 6-7 years old so I have to rebuild everything with new parts.
    • I already have an OS (Win 7 64bit)
    • Don't need any peripherals right now, will upgrade them later.

Current pile of crap if you need to know for some reason: Bugged AMD Phenom 9500 quadcore, ATI Radeon 4650 512MB, 4GB RAM, 350W PSU, 150GB HHD.

    Thank you!

About $70 more for a 770 card if you want.

Here's my take on it, if you could scrap the dvd drive you can get a better case:
