When did we accept that people acting like this to gain money was a good thing? "She is acting like an ignorant tit and running the community in to the ground, but she's making money from it so I like her!" It looks like you've just fallen in to the titty trap in another, more subtle way.

If someone was making a profit from pissing people off and shitting on some other business then everyone would be all pissed off, but give that face a big pair of titties and it's all okay. Honestly, fuck that attitude. This is part of the reason why communities go to shit.
This also somewhat answers the OPs question; people like her are popular because people like the guy I've quoted here think this is entertaining. You'd have to be more than slightly petty to get your kicks from other peoples frustrations and anger enough to actually watch a stream of someone whose sole purpose is to do that.

What people find entertaining ranges from things like watching a comedy to brutal mutilation however, so finding something entertaining doesn't automatically mean it's not going to be something toxic or harmful in some way. The amount of truly fucked up and horrific shit that thousands of people find entertaining on the internet should never be considered acceptable entertainment simply because some people like it. This is obviously not as bad as the stuff I'm suggesting, but the mentality of accepting it because it entertains is the same.

Being supportive of someone whose sole purpose is to cause anger and frustration in random people isn't what I'd consider a healthy product to support. Being entertained from seeing those people rage is also not something I'd consider healthy. You disregard the damage it does to a community and a product like Twitch for the sake of personal gratification. To me, this is not something that should be supported.

to put it simply; if you want good things then supporting bad people isn't the way to go about it. If you enjoy using Twitch and enjoy watching her be a troll then you are supporting something that harms the very thing you are using to enjoy it. It's not sustainable.

I'm fairly certain if Twitch was full of these types of streamers then it wouldn't become anything else. If the success or failure of Twitch is of no concern to you then I don't know why you've bothered to reply in a thread where the discussion is related to Twitch and its failure. Your lack of concern on the subject and the voicing of it offers nothing to the discussion. The reason I didn't add the reason why you should care about Twitch in particular is irrelevant to what I was saying anyway. I'm talking about what I consider to be a poor mentality, which isn't confined to Twitch. Twitch just happens to be the subject being discussed that can be used as a base to express my own view.

I also don't see why I should give you a reason to care anyway, as I have no idea who you are or why your lack of consideration is something I should be concerned about. If people care then they can reply to me with something of substance, and those who don't care can continue to remain silent, or just post nothing of consequence as you have done.

I want to talk about livestreaming. WoW livestreaming.

Nowadays you don't see as many WoW streamers as in the past. We've had names like Reckful, Hydra, Tosan, Ziqo, Klinda etc...
Those are names you remember being at the top of the twitch WoW streaming community. Nowadays, we have random noname females which raid SoO normal/LFR, dying on the first 5% of the bossfight then proceed to alt tab to go on facebook or talk about stupid shit they experienced the day before. The worst part is, they have 600+ people watching INCLUDING a SUB BUTTON.

WHAT. THE. FUCK

Streaming used to be about the best players broadcasting top tier gaming content involving high end arenas and races to world first PvE kills. Myself being not that interested in PVE I cannot speak for that section as the only PvE streamers I know are Sco and Evrelia. Skilled players who deserve every inch of fame they have. People like Snutz, Venruki, Talbadar, Pikaboo, Trillebårtom, Båten and Zeepeye. They are the best PvP'ers in the world at the moment who stream WoW arena and 80% of them do not peak as many viewers as the random girls who show 60% of the screen as their cleaveage in their tight tops.

Please explain me the logic where Kaceytron and Blondiewondie who are stuck at bronze 3 in league, 1500 in arena can have more viewers than legends such as Snutz and Båten. Im really intregued how ANY female can start up a stream and hoard massive cash from just showing tits on cam and live off that.


Its no question that males dominate the ladders in every competetive online game. LoL, Starcraft, Dota and WoW. There are NONE top level female players in any of those games. By top I mean top 5 in the ladders, surely there are a astronomical exeption out there, but there is no doubt that male players are the most skilled. This is because we have better brain capacity and are more talented when it comes to multitasking and teamplay.
Don't get me wrong, I've played with many girls over the 9 years in WoW. 1 officer in the last PvE guild I was in was by far the most skilled PvE mage I've ever played with, but out of maybe 20, she was the only one who stood out as a skilled player, and thats what live streaming is about. Being GOOD at a game, and showing those skills to the people watching.

Livestreaming is about teaching others your ways, broadcasting the talent you possess for others to take your knowledge, not buy a webcam and whore yourself out to 14 year old teenagers. Let me provide some examples.

It all comes back to basic Humanity 101, Men find women attractive, specially boobs. Women knows this and tries to make the most out of it.
