is it a gain to use the two better pieces and ignore the 4 set?

Simulate it. Nobody has done/shown sims that shows the strength of the 4pc, I'll do it at some point, though.

4pc is pretty strong especially comboed with AoC. There's no way replacing items of the same ilevel would ever be an increase over 4set

This is so true, I got 3 off pc's of heroic gear and thought i could drop my 4pc. LOL was i ever wrong ( i did crap dps for that raid day and had to swap my gear back ) Originally Posted by Illana
