    Upgrading GPU Bios?

    Hi everyone, I recently (5 months ago) purchased a new rig for my girlfriend to use for her hobbies and such. Ever since we got it, we've been getting odd artifacts and 'glitches' from odd sources, such as from scrolling down a page to quickly. It's not a cheap build by any means, so this has been bothering me for awhile. I go to XFX support to complain about it and they told me to upgrade the GPU Bios? I have no idea how to do this and would appreciate any feedback. If you have any workarounds or anything, I'd also appreciate that.

    The GPU in question, a XFX Radeon 7870.

    Personally if it were me, I'd RMA before flashing BIOS. I don't consider bios flashing part of 'regular maintenance' out of the box.

    This. I'm also pretty sure doing so voids any warranty you may have, and frankly can't believe they told you to do that. I would 100% RMA the sucker before I even attempted to do such a thing.
