What is your favorite gear tier?

Warrior tier 3 and DK tier 8.5 (as well as the grey/red variant). I also really like all of the DK tier 10 models and ran with the 277 Tier 10 for a long time. Aside from those sets I also really love Paladin tier 12.5!

Tier 4, 5 and 6. Afterwards there was another tier which I like in general, but I can't remember which. It was a tier in Wotlk though. :P

There are many favorite sets for me. Warlock T8, T15, S8 - Hunter T8, T14, S11 - DK T11, T14, S8 - Pala T10.5, T12 and Shaman T5.

Shaman, Tier 6. The Spikey Coatrack. Currently wear it in the gold recolor with mixed and matched pieces (I never use just a solid tier set, too predictable. Also, it's fun to dress up dolls.), since it matches the legendary melee cloak perfectly!

My Druid wears t5 shoulders, t8 helmet, and actually just armory him if you want, Faulty@ScarletCrusade. Best compliment I've ever got on my transmog: "Damn dude, you could be an NPC."

Surprised only 1 has chosen Paladin T16. I think it's 1 of the most amazing paladin sets in a long time and makes me wanna go paladin. It's sort of a throwback to Tier 2 paladin, which arguably has been 1 of the most succesful tier sets.

Across the board? T4 probably had the best overall set. T5 was probably second to that. There are some good individuals though like t15 for druids, if that is the tree and spider one.
