we could move to a better system of instant teleport nodes throughout the world.

Kinda like GW2 travel system.

I don't see why the two are mutually exclusive, and I really hold out hope that Blizzard will eventually add an instant port system. The amount of travel time in this game for most things you really want to do (pet battles, dailies) is insane.
