    Gilnean/Worgen District in Stormwind?

Due to recent information, we now know that Stormwind is being fixed to some extent in the not too distant (well…maybe distant) future. Would you want to see Gilnean architecture/new Worgen/Gilnean home in that district? If we aren't getting Gilneas itself this to me is the next best thing. Give us a real home, and give Genn his own manor again!

And not just trees…Real Gilnean buildings please!

    EDIT:
One thing I see people commenting on is that instead of getting the district just give us Gilneas. And I agree with that. But-we need to understand Blizzard until it becomes absolutely necessary will not give us the real Gilneas and Gilneas City. Therefore we need to try to push Blizz to make this district a Gilnean one, so the Gilneans are not forgotten about in game. I would take Gilneas any day of the week, but I'm trying to be realistic with what blizzard has been saying. Give us the Gilnean District we deserve if not the City and Nation we deserve.

I threw this together pretty fast-its sorta stupid but you see the idea there- http://imgur.com/sUT5oda
Use the #gilneandistrict and tweet at blizzard employes!

Gilneas has my favorite architecture in WoW so I'm all for this. It would be fantastic to sit there all day instead of the Dwarven District.

I'm curious as to what they plan on doing with that gaping hole in the ground. I'm also curious how they intend to make that work with the Twilight Highlands intro quest if they do change it since the Old Barracks is something of significance to the quest chain.

Even though it may cost a raid tier (this is an acceptable figure of speech now, yes? like an arm and a leg?), I wouldn't mind the night elves and worgen working together to make a darker version of the Park where all the worgen, warlocks, and druids can have fun. Just gotta figure out what to do with that crater.

It'd certainly be nice. Especially if it was sorta lower than the rest of the city, and
closer to the water- making it constantly foggy and dark.

Maybe give them a dock that leads ... somewhere?

While I'd have no issue with Blizzard putting a Worgen district there, I just don't think it would make much sense if they were actually going with the whole "Horde gave back Gilneas since we helped them" sorta thing. They have a home again, it just needs to be cleaned up, but I suppose actual homes would be better for the meantime instead of a giant tree.

Allot of the older cities are really nice and no1 goes there because they aren't main cities.
there are cities besides orgrimmar and stormwind? WHAT?

OT: I don't think the worgen architecture really fits in with Stormwind, I'd rather have them rebuild the park again.

Not suggesting a tree-suggesting Gilnean architecture.

I mean Org does this already. Clear Goblin, Troll, and Tauren districts. And to be fair, SW already has a Dwarven district.
Long story short, has already happened.

I meant they're living in a giant tree at the moment.

Nah would rather just have the old park back than the Worgens planted in the middle of Stormwind. Now I don't have an issue with races having their own zones within cities, but the architecture needs to remain true to the city itself. Stormwind is a human city, not a Worgen city, so it needs to continue to look like the human architecture that currently exists.

Example would be the Dwarven District. Its Dwarven because of the people located there, but the architecture is 95% Stormwind.

Someone in another thread brought up the idea of an embassy building with rooms dedicated to each Alliance race, maybe with a central meeting room where important characters could discuss things. I think that would be a better fit than a Worgen district. Worgen architecture is beautiful but would be very out of place in SW, I'd rather them just let us have Gilneas instead of it going to waste. The Alliance capitol should have a building dedicated to the Alliance as a whole instead of just one race who already has a (very small) space in another city.

The alliance has... different colored rooftops as their form of architecture. I think some parts of Org were updated when it got all spiky, so it seems fair that SW could use a serious architectural revamp. Make the Dwarven District feel Dwarven / Gnomish, make the New Park feel Worgen / Nelvish.

Yes. Either Gilneas architecture or a tower going to ground level. with a level dedicated to each race in the Alliance.

A shady Gilnean fishing harbor, that ought to do it.
Now you see it. Now you don't.

I'd rather get a whole tier devoted to retaking Gilneas and that become the Worgen capital city, and use that park space for something else.

A Gilnean district fits the most I think.

They have a tree at Darnassus, that is all. I think they deserve a little more, the night elves have their own city, so they are fine. Goes as well with all races by the Worgen, they have nothing except 1 active village and a tree..

Would have to agree on this, a quest line to follow the Gilnean to glory.

Yes very much please and thank you.

To everyone saying "but it'd look out of place!", it really don't feel it would. If it were bright and cheery stormwind skies it might, but all you have to do is change it so it gets foggy when you enter the Gilnean district.

They should "tiers" built into the crater walls, descending down into a flattened plaza area down at the water's level with a harbor.

And, to make it so people actually go to the district, stick in a bank and an Auction house too.

That'd be great, but Blizzard doesn't seem too keen on showing the implications of lore actions in-game. The reaction some people had towards Cataclysm probably left a bad taste in their mouth.

I would much prefer to see the Park become a High Elf area in Stormwind, and have them expand the Worgen area in Darnassaus.
