Black Dragon in Obsidian Sanctum with all drakes up. I would figure you could at least solo 10 man.

Are you looking at farming mounts? Like the Raptors from the eggs and turning in 9999 for a mount? The 10 crytals to attack the serpent to get a mount? Houlon?

The Stonecore and Vortex Pinacle mounts drops on normal aswell.
And you can farm bloodcoins for that mount, if you haven't done Brawlers guild there's that.
And depending on what factions you got at exalted there might be some mounts you can get from that.

Worth noting that the stonecore and vortex pinnacle mounts can drop in normal. Blue proto might drop in normal as well.

Some of those mounts drop only in 25 and/or in heroic only.

A few additions to your list:

- Yogg-saron 25 man ONLY (and obviously +0 keepers)
- Lich King 25 heroic ONLY
- Both Deathwing mounts drop in heroic, you don't have to farm normal and heroic separately
- Also worth noting that pandaria world bosses mounts can be coin-bonus-rolled. Other mounts (even pandaria raid ones) cannot be bonus-rolled.
- Malygos drops TWO mounts. Both drop in 10 man or in 25 man, you don't have to farm those separately.

Blue Proto-Drake is heroic only. The SC/VP mounts are the only mounts that drop in normal difficulty in a dungeon, besides the Rivendare mount, as that dungeon only has one difficulty.

ow ow ow, you forgot the 3 colors of direhorns that Warbringers drop in pandaria (there are 5 WBs). Also, in pandaria there are the 3 colors of raptor you can get from blue egg drops. There is a white raptor as well you can farm up for 10000 bones on the isle of giants. And let's not forget the Alani mount you can get for farming up 10 Sky shards in the Vale.

As a side-note, this isn't exactly farming, many of the mounts from old world drops can be gotten from the bag of mysteries or whatever it is called after you finish a heroic dungeon as a tank/healer. And who could forget the BMAH, for those with lots of gold many many rare mounts can be found there.

Here's a how I would go about getting some new mounts:

Firstly buy/grind all the easier ones:
Red Drake- get your exalted wyrmrest- very easy!
Green Proto- Get Oracles and just keep buying eggs
Netherwing- Looks like you can buy all the other ones already, that's another five mounts
PvP- Black War Ram, Steed, Tiger
Darkmoon Faire- the two from here
Baradin's Hold- two mounts from rep
Argent tournie- Just keep doing it
White Polar- Just keep doing it
Jewelcrafting- 5x tigers
Tailoring- 2x carpets
Engineering- Flying machine (about 500g), and the other 2 you need
Archaeology- (scepter) Not so easy, just do in-between other mounts or when you start running out
Firelands Dailies- Quite easy (Flameward Hippogryph)

Reset Day:
-Run Kara (Fiery Warhorse), Onyxia (Onyxian Drake), EoE (Azure Drake), VoA (Grand Black War Mammoth), Yogg-Saron (Mimiron's Head), Lich King (Invincible's Reins), ToT (Horridon and Ji'kun), MSV (Astral Cloud Serpent), Dragon Soul (Experiment 12-B, Blazing Drake, Life-Binders Handmaiden), TO4W (South Wind), Firelands (Alysrazor and Fire-Hawk).

In some of those raids, aim for achievements:
Dragon Soul Meta- Twilight Harbringer
Ulduar Meta- Ironbound Proto Drake
ICC Meta- Both Vanquishers needed
TO4W and others- East Wind
Firelands- Fire-Hawk

Then go onto your daily/more regular runs:
Stratholme- Deathcharger
ZG hc- Black Panther, Armored Razzashi Raptor
UP hc- Blue Proto Drake
VP- North Wind
Slabhide (deepholm dungeon)- Vitreous


That's not complete, but once you've done all of these, you'll have the rare and difficult ones left. Don't farm time-lost until you have white polar bear, you never know how RNG will treat you. I have grinded mounts for a loooong time, I would say that you should become an expert auction house user in order to fund this. It's faster farming 100k than it is to farm poseidus, for example (unless you're lucky).

You should try to get normal lockouts for all the raids, so you can go straight to the mount bosses by using the save. If you don't know what I mean then try googling it.

you forgot the mounts on the isle of giants (where oondasta is)

for gathering 9999 bones its the white bone raptor and then you can get i think it is 3 more from the eggs that drop. the eggs are unique and they hatch over time, if i remember correctly it is 3 days. you can have many over different toons however =D
