They are my favourite race though, so I hope Blizzard takes care in updating their model and takes on board the feedback about the issues plaguing them re some of the emotes, the idle stance and some of the animations. I have no doubt that they'll update the muscle definition to do away with the "smoosh" that came with their "beefing up" (in reality, the beefed up models are closer to how they were portrayed in the concept art, anyway) and bring back some definition.
...and people are swift to forget that by realistic standards a male blood elf is easily equal to a professional athlete or male model in terms of having a sturdy, muscled physique with realistic proportions. So I wouldn't consider them to be 'skinny' either.

*shrugs* If you're not obese or an 800lb gorilla, you're "skinny". Most male warriors would qualify as "skinny" based on the standards of some people.
Start trying to work out who deserves what, and before long you’ll spend the rest of your days weeping for each and every person in the world.

Heh. I have a feeling that a lot of the people branding the blood elves as 'skinny' aren't nearly as muscled or fit themselves.

You are certainly right, but you get my point i don't think we need to fund another club just for the female gnome angry face gone. My biggest concern about this particular situation is the eyebrows, the rest of the features (mouth, eyes) i can see them done with no problem at all, but the eyebrows are still too different and i don't see this solution working for them.

Anyway, beta is beta, we know they want to do it, so we only have to wait But i'll keep my doubts until i see my gnome's face properly done.

I love orc and dwarf, and human looks certainly better than original, but could be even better

Human still needs to be given back her totally 1980s cat's eye makeup, but it's getting there.

Wow. a genuine surprise. I wasn't expecting Blizzard to tackle the same-face syndrome. It looks fantastic.

edit: they even updated the Dwarf's creepy, rapey face option. Lol

Glad they're giving more facial customization because the face options are like 98% the same on beta atm.

And for those of you wondering about Blood Elves, Chris tweeted
Blood Elves WILL be updated, and we're pushing hard to get them out as quick as we can.

We already knew they would. Chris Robinson said they would. How is this a surprise?

Mostly because according to a shocking amount of MMO-C posters, Blizzard is a group of "lying" "promise" breakers.
Mountains rise in the distance stalwart as the stars, fading forever.
Roads ever weaving, soul ever seeking the hunter's mark.

Well there is that. You do tend to forget that Blizzard is not in fact the name of a large man in a suit with dollar signs for eyes, hanging around these forums.

I'm glad that they finally posted this Artcraft. It should make many people very happy.

This is why you should WHINE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE DURING BETA. Only time when something can be fixed.
I agree you should give plenty of feedback but whining comes across more as childish and entitled. Provide logical reasons for changes needed, and if the company doesn't adhere to them find a new argument or if they provide a good counter at least give a nod to reason and see what happens. I'm likely to patient so I end up just waiting to see the results before I get angry, so don't rage much. I'm likely a minority in that too but still I like the new models and faces are coming along well. Hopefully people will be patient till they finish before breaking out pitchforks and torches to chase down the monsters who ruined the game.

I'm so glad they devoted the resources to the faces, the new options look amazing.

I wonder what this did cost us. Not being sarcastic.

Please don't encourage the forums to continue to not understand the difference between constructive feedback and whining. I guarantee you, delivering your feedback in the form of QQ, raging or whining in no way adds weight to your argument and if anything just makes your comments hit Blizzard's mental spam filter. Plus, it makes the forums shitty annoying places to hang around in for all of us.

I do not like that human female face still. It looks pinched and stretched all at the same time.

Meh, not too bothered about blood elves being delayed. The vanilla races needed these updates the most, besides it'll be a treat when they do release the belfs. ^^

The one gripe I have though is that female humans still have VERY big eyes.

I think you should send it to that Chris Robinson guy

I think the male Dwarf and female Human are spot on. Updated and still true to the original. Is this true for every look for every race? Maybe it isn't but from this I can see they are doing a great job trying.
