“It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end… because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing… this shadow. Even darkness must pass.”
Conan the barbarian
Warcraft 3 blademaster, tauren chieftain and mountain king

warriors are generally total bros and decent guys(towards other warriors at least) I wanted to be part of that.
I like big weapons, the bigger the better. When i heard blizzard was going to allow warriors to dualwield 2H weapons i cried tears of joy.
Didnt really get inspired by outside sources tbh, rolled a war late vanilla/early bc (cant remember) because I wanted to tank, and if u wanted to tank u rolled war (old vanilla mind set). Wanted people to envy my large health pool and be amazed... too bad big healthpools nowadays just means that u are a shroom for the healers >.< bring back 100% pure stamina gem builds!
Nowish <Envy> Washed up, classic hero - Feral + War dps/tank PoV-> http://sv.twitch.tv/viss3
Played hunter during vanilla. Was nice but somehow didnt keep me entertained. Rerolled warrior because I could take a more important role in raids and because I was interested in the raw straightforwardness of warriors or classes alike.
Played Warrior in EQ. Liked the Tank Role in that, so it naturally led to the only tank class in Vanilla.
I'm a Taurus, Year of the OX, so I went Tauren.
Gimli.
Also because I like sword and board.
The guild I started with had too many paladins on the off chance I was to raid.
The guy that owned the net-cafe where i was playing from during vanilla played a warrior and was one of the best on his server...so 13 year old me wanted to be like him so i rolled a warrior
Oh and i was always attracted to brutish classes in fantasy games.
Watched this and immediately rolled my warrior.
Titan's Grip.
the ability known as Charge. the sound. the function. the awesomeness.
The immersion, I feel like I can "relate" to a warrior and get really into like I can "relate" to someone in tekken or a street fighter game and get involved. I just can't do that as a mage or a warlock.
I tend to always favor heavy armored melee characters in RPG.
Warriors have always been the most fun and badass concept for me. Big numbers, flurries of attacks, overpowering strength and enraged attacks flailing at an opponent just gives me the shivers. Warriors will always be the class for me in any MMO.
I started back in 2004, in Korean Open beta, hehe.
Before that I played a lot of custom Warcraft 3 maps, my favorite maps were the ones where pick a Hero and play vs Creeps, I usually picked Tauren Chieftain, my first character in WoW was Tauren Warrior, but I came to dislike the Tauren model in the end of Vanilla. Playing Human Warrior since TBC now.

HEROIC LEEEEEAAAAAAAAAP!
PM me weird stuff :3
More or less this.
Didn´t want to impress anyone with numbers those days, but after I played my first main, a healing priest, to 60, I have always been intrigued by tanking. After a short break of some weeks, I started on a new server a new main and I knew, it had to be a tank. A warrior tank those days.
Here I am :X
> Not relying on Magic, summoning things, pets, minions, guardians but just oneself and ones abilities.
> Big ass weapons
> Zero fucks given attitude of being face to face with whatever you're fightning
> More big ass weapons
> Iconic abilities like Charge, Heroic Strike (R.I.P Sweet Prince), Execute, Whirlwind and fucking Bladestorm!
> Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeven more big ass weapons
> Possibly the sexiest tier sets in the history of drooling over armor
> I loved the fact Warriors can equip all the weapons in the game and be all races, completely useless since I choose to play one race (although Undead Master Race )
Can't think of much else, there's a lot of iconic Warriors in Lore, other games, real life and many more sources. This just appeals to my personality and interests a lot more. Plus I used to watch players like Klinda, Maydie, Swifty, Gforce and others whereas I could never watch a casters video because I just found it hard to get involved with someone spending the majority of their time standing still casting or running around trying to get out of melee range.
Rend.
Now that it's coming back, going to roll a warrior again. Awwyiss.
Grom
Broxigar
Saurfang
Lothar
Too bad Blizz screwed em up in WoD back on the shelf for my warrior I guess.
