No email notifications?

I've always loved getting mmo-champ email notifications, the more posts I get notified about in a given thread I subscribe to, the better.

Problem is, lately? I don't get them anymore. I double-checked that they were not accidentally flagged as spam in my email, indeed mmo-champion is not.

Something up?

Any update on this? I'm not getting emails anymore for messages, either...

I just double-checked and the email I have attached to this account is still the correct one. So this is definitely not on me.

I just tested and they work fine, maybe try temporarily switching the email address on your account to a gmail account to see if your current provider is silently eating them?

Ugh, well that worked, only issue is that's my college email. >_< Ah well, I'll figure something else out soon.

3K+ posts and I've just been leaving threads open in tabs and refreshing/searching threads for my name in replies all this time. ._.

It's not what you think. Email notifications only let you know when there is a new post. Not when someone mentions your name or quotes your post.

This, although when it worked best, it would send me a new email if I read the email, yes, somehow mmo-champ would know. I bet the email provider would tell mmo-champ that the email has been opened, thus mmo-champ automatically sends another reply email for the next.

There were also times when I'd get emails for every reply. I prefer for after I look at the most recent post or open the email, personally.

Still, doesn't explain why I stopped getting the emails. =/
