Regarding the discussion of Maraad knowing the stories:
It's the best the Alliance has right now. We know that most big events pre blood are very similar in nature in both universes.

So Maraad gives Varian the knowledge to the best of his abilities with the disclaimer of minor inaccuracies.

But it doesn't matter. We're not talking about absolute technical data or explicit strategic information here.

Maraad just wants the King to be able to understand the psyche of his enemy and wants to convince him that negotiation and peaceful coexistence are not an option, since Varian is still reluctant to commit to an inevitable war.

How WoDs draenor becomes an AU is when the blood isnt consumed by the orcs and the dark portal they create links to OUR current timeline. You need to think in terms of timelines and not universes. Everything that happened on WoD Draenor is IDENTICAL to what happened in the Outland draenor. Nothing is different until Garrosh prevents Gromm and the other orcs from consuming Fel Blood. Thats when things change. It doesnt change our timeline because it goes off of a theory of time travel that dictates that if you were somehow able to travel backwards in time and you managed to change ANYTHING it would instead create an alternate timeline or AU instead of changing the present and possibly creating a paradox. Its the universe's protection against such an event. Google it if you don't believe me. Its one of the theories of time travel.

TL;Dr Everything that happened on Draenor is unchanged from how it happened leading up to the explosion of Draenor, making it outland. Until Garrosh prevented the consumption of felbood that is.
Completely wrong. It IS an AU... we are told that explictily in the Hellscream Story, page 4:

"I understand how you feel." Garrosh chose his words carefully. "My father died with his axe buried in his enemy's chest. A good death. But the path that led him there was paved with dishonor and was born from a single wrong decision. For too long I lived with rage toward him. It was wasted anger. Your mate's death and your clan's moment of weakness may still cause you pain, but the son she gave you—"

"My son? She never gave me a son."

Grommash was staring into Garrosh's eyes, weighing him, judging him. Garrosh did not even allow himself to blink. "I did not know that," was all he said.
Kairoz. Garrosh felt a cheek muscle jump. Counting blades of grass. He took a moment to relish the memory of carving out the dragon's middle, feeling Kairoz's hot blood flow over his hands. It calmed him. Deep breaths. I was never born on this world. Grommash was never a father. Is this what the bronze dragon meant by "the perfect timeway"?

By a decade, I mean from before WoD starts. The only changes are recent ones, Nerzhul's wife, Garrosh's birth were all within 10 years of the opening of the Dark Portal. Anything before that isn't really well known or discussed. So far both of these 2 videos take place within a decade of WoD. I would hope they take butterfly effects into consideration, but that is also why I don't believe the changes go back any further than 10 years.

If you read the books, they set a tone that the Orcs are peaceful, that they go to Nagrand and meet up and how they set up Grom is that he's just some new chieftain who is loud and annoying. They claim the ogres are stupid and wild, there's no empire, the Orcs aren't these blood thirsty "Victory or Death" guys. It's hard to explain, im bad at it but if you ask people who have read the book in great detail, they will most likely agree that this is not the same as in the book.

That was really bad. I had hopes for this series after the first one was pretty good. I hate how they're taking known lore figures and completely changing them from the way we knew them.

Irregardless of the alternate universe being perfect, I'm talking about how in this LoW video Maraad is talking about Grommash from our universe so it doesn't make sense.

He can't have been in his teens considering he is not much older than Thrall is and Thrall was born around the time the demon blood was drunk. I'm specifically talking about how Garrosh even existed in our universe if according to Maraad his mother was killed close to the time he would have been born.

I'm really having no trouble with understanding why there's no alternate Garrosh due to him not being born. What I'm finding hard to believe is that they're trying to say Garrosh exists even though his mother would have been killed around the time he would have been born and their village was decimated and razed by Orges in our timeline. Also I find it unlikely that Grom would run around yelling at the Draenei about his wife's death whilst slaughtering them or even lecturing any possible Draenei prisoners (unlikely) about it. Grom: "And the moral of this story, blue skin, is not to leave your weak wife and warriors to be slaughtered by Ogres you raided." *Cleaves head*
Alright, man. It's not that complex. Stop trying to make it.

Maraad knows this story because he was there on Draenor. All the LoW stories are about our timeline. Garrosh's mother died in our timeline. Garrosh is already born, but is a child at the time of this story. So, that's how he exists in our timeline. His mother had him, and then she died in a raid.

In the Alternate Draenor, he was never born. Everything that Maraad just told us happened the same way, but Garrosh was never born in this world. It's an alternate world. Things happen differently here. They didn't simply go back in time and create an Alternate universe by changing how things happen, this was always an Alternate Universe, so things will be different inherently, despite the change that Garrosh makes on purpose.

This was explained when Garrosh encountered Grom in the short story recently released. He discussed this story which he knew (his mom dying), but was shocked to learn that Grom had no son.

Considering the current year is 31(dark portal opening is year 0) and thrall was born on Azeroth. So he is younger than 31. Stormwind fell 5 years later, so he is older than 26. Garrosh and Grom betray Guldan and Mannoroth in year -4 and Garrosh was already alive at this point means he is no younger than 35 but it is mentioned that he was born a couple years before making him around 37ish. This adds up that in year 8(12years after manno drinking) that he stands as tall as Kargath(in Beyond the Dark Portal)

so Thrall is anywheres between 26 and 31, but since he is stated to be born 2 years after the Dark Portal, he is 29.
Garrosh is roughly around 8 years older than thrall.

After all of the time travel and alternate universe stories we have seen and read over they years in various forms I don't see how people are confused by any of this. Go read some of DC Comics' "Crisis" events if you want alternate universe overload.

Nice artwork and animation as always.

I guess they've kind of backpedalled on the orcs being noble savages...they seem brutal as ever here.

People watching videos SPECIFICALLY about the Orc Warlords and then complaining because it has Orcs in it?

Are you people dense as fuck or what? It would be like Watching the Golden Globes and being annoyed their are Actors there. Another case of people complaining for the sake of complaining.
Seems to be the new trend on MMO-champ.

Watching the first part now. I must say it makes me feel slightly embarrassed. The voice acting and CGI is pretty bad. They are really overdoing the "badassing" of the characters and makes it all awkward instead of making it look natural in any way.

Maraad: I... have faced them before.

Varian: On Draenor... you were there... all those years ago...

Maraad: Yes... believe me... they are not invincible.

Varian: Then tell me of them Maraad... tell me everything...

    Maraad: Very well....
I agree, it sounds really bad. The unnatural slowness of their speech is just cringe worthy. No one talks like that.

He was fighting off lethargy for years at that point, defiantly not in his prime.

Love these vids (not being well versed into the lore I have no idea whether it's a faithful description of the warlords ).
I hope Blizzard will produce some about alliance & alliance heroes sometimes.
