I've been throwing all the toys away coz of lack of space in my bags/bank etc... i bet i've had most of the game's toys. will they count for the acheivement when 6.0 hits or?

Currently in beta, you must have the actual item in your bag to "learn" it to the toybox.

I believe blizz was going to implement some sort of server query for your completed quests, so in case you've deleted any of the MoP quest rewards, which probably everyone did, you'll get the item added to your collection.

Sometimes they'll do a scan back through your account / character to check, other times they won't. I've gotten a few Feats of Strength achievements based on items I've long since lost.

We'll just have to see I'm afraid.

mop quest stuff was automatically awarded to me on ptr, even tho I've deleted them. so guess they're going the retroactive route. didnt reaward older quest ones tho, so guess it's just mop zone ones.

and every toy gets a battle pet like explanation. means you can always see in a toy box how to collect a toy etc so even if its a quest you can then redo that with a alt if you want.

A lot of toys are gained as quest rewards..

I truely hope, that if those toys have been discarded in the past, they will still be auto-included in toy box, as there will be no way to obtain them again..
Drop-toys will probably have to be found again..

Actually they DO reward old quests. I got power converter, leyara something, and few other on my first login but seems old quests bugged right now. It reset as soon as you zone or logout. (on PTR)

I'm wondering if they hit "quest items" that could be used anywhere (like archmage vargoth's staff and elemental binding totem) and made into toys... Would also like to know the fate of dartol's rod of transformation.

Old item is gone. New item added in WoD for, Archmage Vargoth's Staff anyway.

And the totem I was thinking of was the Totem of Spirits from those quests in BC shadowmoon valley that you could drop anywhere.

And a quest I did in Uldum put a quest item in my bag, unless the "no quest items are put in bags" thing only applies to WoD quests? Can't test the Dartol Rod since the alt that has it won't copy over.

Items that i removed in MoP i also have in my toybox, i don't know if intended or that removed items are already in toy box.
