I dont understand it, maybe its my english. It says "in a couple of weeks". Pre-patch 6.0 was announced for the 14th of octobre. With the new talents itroduced there is cleary no reason to have an ongoing season. It means it will end then. So why cant they just write it that way? Or does "a couple" just mean in 2 weeks?

They never "officially" anounce the end of a season date, because shit may happen and they may need to postpone it.

So, historically the season end two weeks after the anouncement. IIRC they announced the end of season 11 in a week and they expanded it to 2 weeks because a lot of people complained.

On the new patch, the season will end either at the same time the pre-expansion patch (most likely) launches or before it. They would never have the most important week of the season on a new patch.
