This RAM will work with this MoBo properly, right?

Ram + MoBo = perfect compatibility? Is that RAM a good speed to use; 2400 Mhz? I really know nothing about RAM, and I want to buy some locally. I'm picking up my MoBo today and saw that that RAM was available at the local store, wondering if it'll be great with the MoBo. The price is perfect. The other RAM that was suggested for me isn't available unless I order it, which I'd prefer not to do.

The question is, do you need RAM with that much speed?

EDIT: Didn't read deeper into the specs, apologies, disregard this part.

It's a big MAYBE. 1.65v ram was the standard for Sandy Bridge (i5-2500K and the like). 1.5v has been the standard for Ivy Bridge and Haswell. The board -might- support it, but it's entirely a tossup. I don't ever recommend 1.65v if I can help it anymore.

To answer the question, the Motherboard will work with the RAM, the main thing is to make sure the CPU you choose is compatible also.
    I don't know...do I need that much speed? 2400 was what was suggested to me. I currently I have an i5 2300, here's my in-progress build:

Okay, so what should I grab then? 8 gigs sounds like enough for my needs, here's the local store's inventory with the applicable filters suggested.

Should I just grab either the 1600 or 1866 G.SKILL sticks? That's what the guy at the store suggested when I asked about the RAM in my PartPicker, bu I prefer to look to the recommendations of you guys over any salesman. I was one, I know how it is.

Another question too, any of this RAM, the Trident or Ripjaws, they'll work with my i5 2300 for like a month before I get my i5 4690k, right? If not, I don't even want to buy them right now, I'll wait.

God, I have so many questions all the time. Thanks for being patient guys.

I'd probably just get that. Cheaper, too.

They're BLUE though! D: Also they're sold out at the St.Catharines location. :X What do you think about the Ripjaws I linked just above? if 1600 is fine then I might as well just grab those, right? There are so many different options...

Technically the Gskill are fine. Its 1.5v, 1600mhz. PErsonally I like to save money where I can, and to me the color isnt worth $10 more, but if you dont' care about it, its perfectly fine compatibility wise.

Of course, there's always the cost of me judging you. I might even be crossing my arms and shaking my head :P

Get the Ripjaws you have on your list. The tridends won't fit below air coolers anyway unless you get their heatings off, which negates half the point of getting them (1.65v is the other reason not bying those). Unless you are getting that h60 on it i saw you mentioning earlier. Actually, even then not worth the price. (and 99.99% chance you can't keep 2400Mhz with above 4.2-4.4GHZ cpu anyway, you should be happy to keep 1866).
