Never said it was the case. If you look at the actual numbers, nothing would suggest it either. Stat weights are stat weights. I've had plenty of instances where higher ilvl gear isn't better than the blues i have. Sockets are a big cause of that, because even with cheap gems, it's a bigger source of stats than a few ilvls on the gear. Mast/Multi 645 bracers were in fact worse, as far as the weights on the front page are concerned, than my 636/socket haste/vers bracers. Just do the math at least, and no one will ever need to wonder. Solsa's doing all this work for a reason. Not so we can all ignore it and keep asking the same questions over and over.

Also note that I'm not calling you out or anything just because I quoted you. Just using your post as a springboard.

Guys. Just do the math. It's not hard to multiply a few numbers, and then add the sums of those numbers together. Or better yet, plug that shit into a sim and let the computer do the math for you

Heres basically the same graph as you've seen above, but with str plotted

    Yeah..

It's not a one case scenario, there is not blanket statement explaining that something is and always be better than something else. Math

Our worst itemised neck (using my weights) vs our best, I know its not always as open and shut as a simple ilvl comparison, but with as little as 6 item levels it makes enough of a difference, all be it not a huge one.

Which seems to be the overall line of thought Blizzard is going with, IMHO. Secondary stats make a difference when you have multiple drops of the same item level, but generally speaking, if it's a higher grade item, equip it and be done.

    Scabbard got changed. again.
    So did skull.
    Lmfao.

Before anyone freaks outs, Blizzard just deployed another Hotfix to several trinkets. So, once again, Stuff is going to change.

  10. #930
They just buffed Scabbard by adding 140 versatility. That makes no sense at all.

Is the DMC worth looking into over some of the alternatives in combination with the Scabbard now? I know some discussion was going on a while ago about the DMC being junk.

As an introductory trinket to heroics this week, I mean.

Initial Sim still shows the difference between MBoF and Skull being 200 DPS, so its certainly not punching above its weight like Scabbard certainly is.

And MBoF is still better than SoA

According to the stat weights linked in the OP and http://www.wowhead.com/news=244840/a...coming-apexis- the buff it got, yes it's about ~500ish dps better then Mote wf or with socket.

Full trinket change log (so far): http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/15491459086

RIP SoK being BiS entire tier.

  16. #936
Hmm, changes accounted for, Scabbard still crushes the other 665's and is competitive with the Heroic Foundry trinkets. looks like the BiS profile will change, yet again. ughh.

Current SimulationCraft shows mark of the bleeding hollow(mastery proc), so I'd assume that one.

The mastery is our best secondary stats, and is linear, so yes it is logic that the mastery proc is better than the others.
(But I'll wait a weapon 655+ for this one!)

I simmed the bleed vs the mastery enchant for weapons and got the Mastery enchant coming out as 4 dps more

    Yes, 4
