So I currrently have Scabbard, Spore trinket(From Brackenspore normal, gg garrison mission), Warforged Fire of the Suns and Skull of War 1 of 3 upgraded, what would be the optimal set? I'm guessing Scabbard as one, but as of the recent DMF trinket changes, does it make it better than Bottle of Infected Spores?

You can see from picture maybe 5 posts above yours... BoIS is the bottle... and 655ilvl bottle is 54dps more than 640 SoW... at least in test gear! But 655 SoW is better!

Hmm, changes accounted for, Scabbard still crushes the other 665's and is competitive with the Heroic Foundry trinkets. looks like the BiS profile will change, yet again. ughh.

Your Sim got SoW 3 of 3 named as a 665 trinket, but it got changed to a 670 trinket some time ago. Is this just a naming error or is the sims based on the old version of the trinket?

I dont understands peoples thought process. The on-use for Scabbard doesnt get nerfed. But they add versatility and its a bad thing? yes its out worst stat but as everyones been saying having it, isnt horrible.

So i got on my paly 642 ilvl and basicaly aiming for 15% haste raid buffed, atm i have 952 haste (9,52% haste) and with 5% haste its exactly 15% haste. My question is: is it worth it ? I got few gems and few enchants into haste because of 15% haste cap, or its better to just all gems and enchants puts into mastery so i will replace 2% from haste into mastery. Atm my stats w/o any buff: 580 crit, 952 haste, 1076 mastery, 558 multistrike, 0 versatility. So what u guys think is it worth ?

I've tried to start doing stuff myself, but just to check with other peoples results:

Bloody-Black Drape WF (99 STR, 68 Haste, 63 Mastery) vs. Doomchain Drape of the Deft (103 STR, 65 Haste, 71 Multistrike).

I get that the Doomchain is better for DP + FV? Correct?

I entered the stat weights from the first page of this thread with my toon in AskMrRobot's best in bags, having Scabbard, Mote of Corruption with a socket, and Alch Tinket. AskMrRobot recommended Alch trinket + Scabbard over MoC.

So, since tooltips everywhere seem wrong, can anyone confirm the new Scabbard stats? JUST blew my gold on it yesterday... is the 15s 2200 str proc the same or reduced to 10s due to addition of some versatility?

My Scabbard still has his 15 sec duration, 1min30sec CD and the additional 140 VER
also on wowhead they wrote the changes out

Probably only because the other trinkets got better. Mainy the one from the iron maidens in BRF i think? until then its still stronk as fuck

Looking at the new trinket list, scabbard is still worth buying right now, they buffed raid trinkets super hard and it actually makes it so we aren't decked out in full 695 gear AND a 665 by the end of the tier. Rather we finish the tier with hopefully two foundry pieces.

Also question for anyone doing crowds in Kargath or plans to at least. Do you guys plan to take SW + Seraphim? I feel like that'd be the most optimal thing to use considering Seraphims high AoE target potential as well as the single target SW could offer when not in crowds.

Scabbard is still a VERY VERY VERY good trinket people. you will not replace it till mythic (blackrock i think) meaning that if you DONT have this trinket for your raid, you are holding them back. The only reason why it is valued less now is because although it got a buff of 100 some versatility, other trinkets got a buff that was not only larger in stats, but were better stats to buff to begin with.

The proc is still 15 seconds, it just has vers on it now. The sky isn't falling.
