The only thing that really changes is how it holds up against the other trinkets, which like Sol said, it still holds its own.

To stimulate the economy also if you want to do the best dps and min/max you are going to buy it. It's been like this at the beginning of most expansion having to buy BiS trinkets going into the first raid tier. Least, the last 3 expansions I have done have been.

It was going for 40k yesterday on my server, thats only a sizeable investment for most of the average wealth people I know, similar to that of a Darkmoon card in the previous expansions.

Didnt know bout that. Was checking this thread for general information like stat priority, spells, etc. Would be nice to know what "normal" trinkets are the best.

EDIT: Now a noob'ish question.. Should I maybe macro it into CS / Judge / other skills for maximum up-time
or maybe stack it with AW for max output while it's active?

a world drop is "normal", or else you won't be seeing them on the AH

So i got on my paly 642 ilvl and basicaly aiming for 15% haste raid buffed, atm i have 952 haste (9,52% haste) and with 5% haste its exactly 15% haste. My question is: is it worth it ? I got few gems and few enchants into haste because of 15% haste cap, or its better to just all gems and enchants puts into mastery so i will replace 2% from haste into mastery. Atm my stats w/o any buff: 580 crit, 952 haste, 1076 mastery, 558 multistrike, 0 versatility. So what u guys think is it worth ?

sim it. Import your toon as is. turn on reforge plots for haste and mastery. Choose an interval and steps that shows how much haste you'd have if you take off those gems/enchants. Profit.

Short fights, on CD. Longer fights, with wings

Dont macro it into anything.

The only trinket i macro are ones with a 2min CD and i macro them into a burst CD that uses the trinket + AW + HA, and use that macro most of time. But also use the CD's separately if needed.

Solsacra, can u sim conquest proc 660 trinket? Rock solid 55icd is still easy to track and allign with CDS. I wonder if it can win with normal ones from highmaul.

Bit narrow-minded of you here. Min/maxing isn't a binary thing, it's not 100% or bust. On top of that, someone might be interested in all of the min/maxing that Sol has to offer here, but may not have the resources to purchase this trinket, which is still going for a fair amount on most servers.

Point is, anyone who reads this thread and takes information from it is doing so because they want to improve their performance. Not all of them are in World 50 or better guilds, some may not even see Mythic. Improving performance is useful at all levels.
