Smile WoD Upgrade Advice (RATE ME)

    Hi Guys,

Since the expansion has dropped, I'm hooked on WoW again.

However, after waiting in a 3 hour queue for Ashran and managing to get a whopping 2fps when fighting the boss - I think its time i upgraded from my Core 2 Duo which has done me well for over 6 years! (RIP)

    Anyway - I've currently got...

    Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
    AMD Radeon 7700
    2GB Ram

as well as some other bits which I will probably salvage and use for the new build (Monitor, HDD, etc)

Here is what I've come up with so far:

    Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
    £167.50

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
    £23.82

    Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
    £110.39

    G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
    £62.39

MSI GeForce GTX 760 2GB TWIN FROZR Video Card
    £148.51

    TOTAL: £512.61

I plan on using Asus' OC wizard to OC it as I'm too much of a pussy to try it myself!

Pc part picker estimates 347W.. how accurate is that? and also, what would be the minimum PSU Wattage I should consider? (if mine isnt up to par that is... Im kind of using the answer to that question to determine if I need to upgrade mine or not)

If someone could chime in with how this build looks and what performance I can expect that'd be great.

Always looking to save some money ofc.. but tbh ive done a fair bit of browsing and it looks like these are the go to parts on a budget... AmIRight?

    Cheers in advance MMOChampion!

I think the following is what you are looking for.
    - Included an ssd for os and games use your old hdd for storage.
    - Mobo is similar to Z97-A but cheaper.
    - Psu, you really want a new psu with new rig, thats the most important part of the pc.
    - Cpu cooler is optional to start with, but since you mentioned it, this will handle a mild overclocking fine.

The only thing I'd really change is to get this R9-280, which is a little overkill, but also cheaper than the GTX760 linked above.
