First time building and not sure where to start but have decided to undergo this challenge as I'm tired of playing wow on my various laptops. I understand you guys get tons of these requests daily just hoping someone can get me started as I'm not really sure where to start on the sticky on sample builds looked a bit dated. I understand this is not a great deal of money for an entire package and I don't have to be able to blast away on ultra while streaming, just something that can run wow resolution on high and be fine with skype running.
Budget: 2,000 USD
Resolution: my current laptop is 1366 x 768 so any upgrade to this would be super.
Games / Settings Desired: WoW, Smite
Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc). None, it's for gaming, answering emails and some work on word.
Country: USA
Parts that can be reused: Nothing will be from scratch
Do you need an OS? Yes, want to go the way of the windows as I am far from computer savvy.
Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)? Yes, the whole deal, cheap speakers are fine as I plan on using headphones but all the normals, monitor, mouse, keyboard.
- Here's another option for you, with an i7 it could help you more in streaming while gaming. Also you don't really have to overclock it as you will have to with the i5, the stock speeds are high enough already.
- You don't need 8 gb of ram to game. The money saved from this (something you could add later if you need it) and from a very expensive cooler can be alocated on the better cpu, which imo is better choice.
- Chose an mmo mouse, but obviously you should take whatever suits you best, depending if you got big or small hands etc.
- For 100bucks i think the Enthoo pro offers alot more than the FR R4.
question, with this part picker is there anyway I can just hit a 'buy all at once' button as I go to a selection add it to shopping cart then, go back to another option and the shopping cart is completely empty.
