Looking for Part List Feedback (Like Everyone else)

    Country: Canada
Budget: Roughly where I am but I will pay more for significant performance increases
Games: WoW and Shadow Over Mordor are probably the most intensive on the CPU and GPU respectively I could list more but

I've tried to balance price, performance and quality as best as I could but I would love a second opinion from a set of more experienced builders!

    CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor - $229.99

    Couple suggestions:

Here's a link for the same CPU, just $20 cheaper:
    http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KPRWB9G/?tag=pcpapi-20

If you're going to pay $83.65 for 8GB of RAM you should hop on this deal & get 16GB for $97 (Including paypal code)

Wow you are quick! Thanks for the suggestions! The CPU won't work simply because I'm in Canada but I appreciate the price check. As for the RAM I was under the impression that 8GB is generally enough at the moment and I can simply add a second dual channel kit later if I feel I really need it, feel free to correct me though (oh and the Canada thing agian).

Ugg I'm debating endlessly, the GTX 970 is about a +50% performance increase on average over the r9 280 but it is also +100% in price (double the price) in Canada and it just doesn't seem worth it :S

The r9 280 is probably more than enough in literally every game I play but the +50% is just there, taunting me, daring me.

*steps back* maybe I need to take a break...
