    Question about 970 video card

So, I've decided on the gtx 970 video card. Problem is they've sold out except for the ones that have been priced way higher than they usually would be. So that gives me time to try to make an educated decision on which 970 card is the best one at the best value. I want to overclock it. So I've come down to these three. Hopefull you guys can educate me further and help me decide, or persuade me to a different 970 card. These are the ones I'm trying to decide on.

    GIGABYTE GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD GeForce GTX 970 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready G-SYNC Support Video Card

EVGA 04G-2978-KR GeForce GTX 970 FTW 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 ACX 2.0 PCI Express 3.0 (Is this card really worth the extra price?)
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814487077
MSI GTX 970 4GD5T OC GeForce GTX 970 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support G-SYNC Support Video Card
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127833

Thanks guys as usual for the help.

Edit: Hmm starting to think the evga gaming g1 might not fit my case http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Carbid...s=consiar+200r

    Specs for card are listed as 19.9 x 22 x 10.6 inches ; 12.4 pounds

Does anyone have any opinion on this one. I have a hard time believing it's as powerful

People are saying it's one of the best over clockers, runs quiet, and is cooler. Mods can close this thread if they need to.

The Corsair 200R does fit the Gigabyte G1, the case fits 420mm card and the G1 is 312. Personally i think G1 is the best out of the 970s with the Msi Twin Frozr comming 2nd. So out of those 3 above i would get the G1 then the one in you last link.

A quick note, however; you may need to move the Drive cages to fit the G1 in. It's not a major issue, but it's something you need to be aware of.

True. However I'm reading I'd have to get rid of my bay drives to accomadate it. Since with it I can only fit 300mm graphic cards. And since i'm not sure how my hdd, sdd, and cd rom would fit without it I don't feel safe buying the card. I'm kind of ignorant when it comes to rearranging my case to fit a very large gpu in it. Thanks though for the help.

I chose the MSI and I am extremely happy with my choice.
It had the best benchmark results, wasn't the most expensive.

I'm playing Wow on 2560x1440 Full options and the card is absolutely silent.

From the look of pictures, the top card would have no issues fitting as there seems to be an empty space between the 5.25" bays and the HDD/SSD bays. If you had a second card for SLI then you would have to do some moving.

I fit an MSI GTX 980 4GB Gaming in my Corsair 200R without moving any of the drive bays haha. At one point I even had SLI consisting of two MSI GTX 980's and had no issue with the drive bay then either.

MSI's GTX 980 is even longer than their GTX 970 as well..

    980: 279 x 140 x 36

    970: 269 x 141 x 35

Image of my 980 in my 200R:

As you can see, it has quite a bit of distance from the drive bays still.

Oh, no doubt the msi will fit. IT's the gigabite g1 that's the question. And it looks like gigabyte has changed the 15 inch spec for length to 12.2 which is great. The question i'm guessing now is cable management.

May I ask you though since you have your setup built and the same case as I do. The picture that Arbiter posted. Where the top gpu is. If that card was longer and went through that hole, directly to the right of it. Is there anything in the cases build that would interfere with the card continuing to go through. Or is it empty space like it looks like there is.

I don't think it's the 200R that has the drive cage that'll block it, provided you use the PCI-E closest to the CPU.

1 g1 card will fit. The reason they have the space there is for better cooling from front fans and longer gpu's.
