While the last season or so was not the best, the actual ending to The Shield was great. Similar thing with The Wire, the ending fit the series very well.

M*A*S*H ending was fantastic. Tops the list for me.
I also loved the ending to The Wire, it really captured the essence of that show.
I don't think this matters nearly as much as you think it does.
Blake's Seven.
"In today’s America, conservatives who actually want to conserve are as rare as liberals who actually want to liberate. The once-significant language of an earlier era has had the meaning sucked right out of it, the better to serve as camouflage for a kleptocratic feeding frenzy in which both establishment parties participate with equal abandon" (Taking a break from the criminal, incompetent liars at the NSA, to bring you the above political observation, from The Archdruid Report.)
Putin khuliyo
dr. house ending is perfect.
Eastbound and down had the best ending of any TV show I've ever seen. It was fucking mint.
Probably my favorite would be 2004's Battlestar Galactica omg the intense feels from that ending. Even just thinking about it...
Honorable mentions Definitely Mash and Breaking Bad for sure.
Cowboy Bepop, no question.
Time is on our side
Brutal Gladiator Enhancement Shaman *rawr*
breaking bad: had a decent ending. i mean theres no way they could have tied everything up perfectly but they did great.
the office: the show kinda fell apart after michael left and we know they tried and did their best. i still feel like the ending was decent.
boston legal: again got a little slow at the end but still had a great ending.
supernatural: this show continues to surprise me, i found the first season very slow and second season meh, but it seems like it gets better as it goes on. it hasnt officially ended yet but im sure they'll make it great.
